The Flooded Basement is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a vast and winding basement complex consisting of storage rooms and countless kilometres of flooded tunnels typically in complete darkness. This sub-space is located directly beneath The Lobby, and can be accessed via occasional holes in the floor that drop one down here. Upon entering one may find themselves in one of two areas, with the first being a fairly sizable storage area with similar wallpaper as to that found within The Lobby itself littered with various crates full of supplies, or within a vast flooded tunnel that is connected to the aforementioned 'storage' room. If one heads away from the storage room through this tunnel they will eventually come across a crossroads, where if you turn right you will end up in a small dry room with metal scraps and pillars within it, while if you turn left the tunnels will begin to diverge into a maze of sorts with 2 floors traversable via various waterfalls.

Demographics

Due to its cramped spaces and long flooded sections the Flooded Basement lacks a permanent population, instead only having a population of roughly 0-10 transitory visitors at any given time, of which most accidentally end up here by falling through a hole in the floor in The Lobby.
