The Vertigo is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a massive white apartment complex situated within a vast, dense fog that surrounds the base of the apartment complex. This fog is remarkably dense to the point of exhibiting properties akin to that of a non-newtonian fluid, allowing brief periods of walking upon it if careful. The apartments themselves are properly furnished and livable, although supplies such as food do not naturally re-plenish making inhabitants have to search for such resources deeper in the sub-space or import them from beyond it.
Demographics
Due to its safe and livable environment the Vertigo hosts a population of roughly 85-105 permanent inhabitants and transitory visitors at any given time as of 444, of which most if not all are unaligned with any major groups in favour of organizing more locally into the settlement known as the Vertigo Tower run equally by all inhabitants of this sub-space.
