The Inverted Reality is a Liminal Space which takes the form of an upside down jungle, with the ground being up and sky down. It can be somewhat traversed thru the "tops" of the trees, as the canopy can often act as a series of platforms, which can be used to climb to the nearest tree or use the limited wooden paths that have been discovered to get from one important place to the other.
If you attempt to explore far out from the starting area of the limspace, you will eventually encounter a vast ocean surrounding the jungle, alongside several unusual structures hidden across the limspace, including upside down villages. If you manage to enter one of these structures then you are most likely safe to live there as long as you still have resources. The most unusual structure to be discovered is a series of large green, mossy rooms found through a tunnel towards the east of the limspace.
Demographics
The Inverted Reality is one of the most difficult to navigate, yet easy to access locations within the Backrooms. Thanks to this, occasional fringe or radical communities tend to make their homes in human-made bunkers built into the 'ground' of the Inverted Reality. Though thanks to this, the level has a generally small transitory population compared to other Sub-Spaces.
Alongside the few human inhabitants the Sub-Space has a native species of entities known as Gravites, whom resemble spiders capable of traversing on the jungle floor.
Camp Delta
Camp Delta is the largest settlement within the Inverted Reality, being the main headquarters of the Backrooms Reorganized Explorer's Organization. Camp Delta is primarily composed of a large bunker complex built deep into the ground of the Inverted Reality, allowing it to securely support human habitation.
