The Archive is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a multi-layered circular library with hallways extending in every direction from the middle of each floor. Situated in the middle of each floor is a circular open area with a small structure surrounded by a desk in the middle, which houses elevators to the other floors of the library. Extending out of this open space are 9 hallways extending in different directions which at the end are able to connect to each other once more due to another open space. Between these hallways are countless bookshelves and reading areas on 2 sub-floors that can be traversed between via various staircases. Each floor largely follows this same layout.

Demographics

Due to the difficulty when it comes to actually getting here, the Archive lacks any permanent inhabitants as it instead only has a population of roughly 0-5 transitory visitors at any given time as of 445, which typically don't remain here for extended periods of time.

  • Noclipping in the smaller of the two islands in the Isles of Blood will send you here.

Exits

  • Noclipping in the central structure of the bottom-most floor will send you to The Cave.
