The Gateway is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a long dark tunnel with various floating skyscrapers flying through it at varying speeds, with some flying rapidly and some moving more slowly and safely. These Skyscrapers all appear to be falling from an inaccessible gateway of sorts at one end of the Sub-Space towards another in the opposite end, with some sort of inverted gravity moving them in this direction that doesn't affect wanderers traversing along the walls of the tunnel. The Gateway is notable for "clipping" into several other sub-spaces, with many of these being accessible thru here or via holes found on the walls of the Gateway.
Demographics
Due to its lack of resources and the occasional threats brought by faster-moving skyscrapers The Gateway lacks a permanent population, instead only hosting a population of roughly 0-8 transitory visitors at any given time as of 442, whom typically move along the edges of the tunnel or on slower buildings.
