The Cruise is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a large cruise ship within a seemingly infinite sea. The ship has many amenities such as comfortable cabins, entities as on board staff, a swimming pool, food/drinks, and much more. The ship itself has several unusual properties, with its 'interior' being visibly much larger than its exterior despite difficulties in mapping out the full size of the ship, though it can be gathered it is roughly 300 metres long and 56 metres tall spanning 8 decks and a beam of 39 metres, which host 8 lifeboats.
While The Cruise may seem to be wholly peaceful and safe, if one is to enter the "Hospitality" deck the otherwise habitable level quickly transforms into a dark winding maze of cream-coloured hallways full of stored supplies and seemingly randomly placed structural supports crawling with the Cruise Crew, which quickly turn hostile until one leaves the area.
Demographics
Thanks to its safe environment (beyond the Hospitality) and many amenities The Cruise hosts a population of roughly 3200 permanent inhabitants and Transitory Visitors at any given time, of which a vast majority are associated with "The Cruise" itself, a neutral polity that solely resides within the ship. Due to its environment, many decide to come to The Cruise for brief periods of time, much like a vacation, leading to it becoming a fairly popular vacation spot.
