Black Goo is a non-sapient/sentient species of slime-like entities which often clings to the walls and floors of the Drowned School's unflooded sections. Its PH is 1.7, leading to skin contact with it being very dangerous due to its corrosive properties. It is not capable of advanced movement as the fluid, despite being sentient, is extremely viscous.
Behaviours
Due to the anatomy of Black Goo it lacks behaviour for the most part, though somewhat capable of limited/slow movement and will slowly flow towards humans or entities in order to consume them. It also seems to provide some kind of nutrition to the Leeches that also inhabit the same subspace, as they often congregate around puddles of Black Goo.
Biology
Black Goo generally lacks any kind of sophisticated anatomy apart from. some kind of "crust" on its outer membrane which is easy to cut through exposing more liquid. Samples have revealed that it is approximately 40% made up of hydrocarbons and 10% of many other known substances, mostly involving Hydrogen and Carbon. The other 50% is made up of a unknown substance.
Discovery
Black goo was presumably discovered around the same time as the Drowned School, with the first few records of its existence being written in 124.
