The Sea is a Liminal Enigmatic Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a seemingly infinite ocean, stretching for an unknown distance in all directions. The Sea is largely unexplored, with only a few islets and structures sticking above the unending surface, acting as the sole habitable areas. The deeper one ventures into the sea the less structures one will find, with these few islands acting as the primary points of habitation in the shallow areas. In the deepest areas no structures or floating objects will be found, with only the cold depths of the ocean remaining visible.
Demographics
Due to its proximity to populated sub-spaces such as Infinitopolis and its lack of major habitation zones, The Sea has a relatively small population of roughly 3-9 transitory visitors at any given time, with all of these typically being only small expeditions from Infinitopolis.
