Secure-Defend-Subjugate Backrooms, often abbreviated as "SDSB" is the largest group in the Backrooms, primarily acting as an exploration and settlement collective. It was founded in 144 by a SDS Investigation team sent to explore SDS-002, though due to an unknown event the entire team ended up noclipping into the Backrooms - where they declared it their mission to establish SDS Authority in the realm they ended up in. While they first started off as a mere outpost, they eventually expanded to the point of becoming a government of sorts spanning across countless levels.
Until modern times the SDSB operated completely independently from its originators, generally not following SDS doctrine whatsoever. In the 200s and 300s however, the SDSB and SDS re-established contact with each other, allowing the SDS to exert more and more influence upon the SDSB. This influence has been met with mixed results, with the SDSB's leadership more or less going along with it, while more local administrators and ideological individuals have greatly opposed this, launching several insurrections against SDS influence in response to this.
The SDSB is under the command of "The Director", a relatively mysterious figure assumed to be the team leader of the original SDS team which entered the backrooms. The day-to-day administration and legislation of the SDSB's various settlements and outposts is handled by the SDSB Council, which is far more active despite being under "The Director"'s command.

The SDSB has documented an anomalous entity that likely behind the existence of The Barrier. It was located in the Misty Caves, and was swiftly contained. A permanent outpost has been made to contain and research as the entity is contained within.
The SDSB has determined that the entity is trying to send a signal to Voidzone to some kind of machine, however the SDSB so far has blocked the signal as its contents could be dangerous. More investigation is being put in the entity in the future. |
Outer Rooms |

The SDSB has researched more into the barrier and has found that with right weapons the walls of Borderzone can be breaches, this leads to a level which will be known as In Between in the level entry documents. This level presumably has a entrance to New Frontier. There may be more levels in between on the way to 0-1 but the truth of the barrier There is also a level located known as "MEG DATABASE" However repeated access to this level has not succeeded. The SDSB is using this entry as a method to explore travel to and from New Frontier, Which could be a safe zone for the SDSB if the barrier expands. The barrier is unique to our backrooms, and it does not exist in others. It is keeping us in. And the other backrooms is free. Hopefully we can find a way to destroy the barrier somewhere in the MEGBackrooms or in the barrier. |
