The Truffle Cavern is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms that takes the form of a large cavern coated with a thick mat of blue mycelium, with occasional bioluminescent spots lighting up the mushroom-filled cavern. Countless large mushrooms grow out of the ground, which is flooded with a few meters of water. These mushrooms commonly expel large amounts of spores which can often be hazardous for ones breathing, although eating the mushrooms is largely safe as long as you don't over-do it. Unlike many other sub-spaces, the Truffle Cavern is dominated by a sapient entity-species known as Truffles which have established their own local government-like body known as the Truffle Diarchy.
Demographics
Due to its difficult to traverse domain and entity dominance the Truffle Cavern only has a population of roughly 0-10 Transitory Visitors at any given time as of 439. Beyond more typical travellers, the cavern also has a population of around 10 Thousand native Truffle entities which inhabit the Truffle Diarchy centred in the city of Truffelia within the Sub-Space. This diarchy, while being entity dominated, is largely friendly and willing to accept in migrants.

- You can noclip here thru a fairly difficult to notice nook in the walls of the Hollow Iceberg.
Exits
- You can find a smaller cave on the edges of the main cavern which leads to an area where you can noclip to the Four Dimensions.
- You can find a wall with some rubble in front of it. If you noclip into this wall you will be sent to Goliath.
