The Drowned School is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms that takes the form of a flooded primary school. with a varying depth of roughly 1-2 meters of water submerging its floor with a couple exceptions such as the basement. The school contains various rooms such as classrooms, a cafeteria, faculty rooms, a nurse's office, a basement, bathrooms, and much more. These rooms occasionally undergo unexplained 'events', such as the cafeteria restocking everyday at 11:00, the ovens turning themselves on at 10:00, the nurse's office restocking every Monday, books and pencils restocking on the first day of June, and craft class supplies restocking when they run out. The water itself is not safe to drink and is known to often be infested with leeches, making traversing through the school highly difficult.
Demographics
Thanks to its replenishing resources, the Drowned School hosts a population of roughly 360-390 permanent inhabitants and transitory visitors at any given time as of 440 despite its hazards. Most of these inhabitants reside in the local "The Student's Union" group's settlements such as their headquarters in "New Lehmo" within the woodworking class or one of their other major bases such as "Beam Omega" in a changing room and projector room, "Grand Harvest" in the cafeteria, or "Medical Station" in the nurse's office. Beyond the TSU, the largest known settlement is the Secure-Defend-Subjugate Backrooms group's settlement known as "Omega-Epsilon" found within an air-pocket in the basement.
