The Library of Wan Shi Tong is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a large five-floored library containing knowledge of countless magical abilities, specifically pertaining to Hecatian Magical Art. The fifth floor (from the bottom) of the Library is a small watching platform that overlooks a vast void, taking the form of the smallest and most uninteresting floor. The fourth floor, also known as the Experience Layer, contains 8 rooms of which 4 are 'reading rooms' located in the four interdirections which contain a fire place, benches, and bookshelves. The other four rooms take the form of a room dedicated to prayer towards Hecate, a room containing the eponymous Wan Shi Tong (an entity which controls this sub-space) in a dormant state, a planetarium featuring the planets of the Alpha Sol System, and a brewery. The third floor, also known as the Bending Layer, consists of 8 rooms with the interdirectional rooms containing information about various spirits and four rooms located in the cardinal directions which contain information about each element. The second floor, also known as the Infinite Knowledge Layer, contains a labyrinth-like library which continues to grow as if they were alive, making navigation difficult if not careful. The first floor contains four large reading rooms and one central seating area with several bookcases decorated with the colours of each element.

Demographics

Thanks to its vast available knowledge for those who visit it the Library of Wan Shi Tong hosts a population of roughly 0-15 Temporary Inhabitants and Transitory Visitors at any given time as of 442, though despite this it generally lacks a permanent population even if it does occasionally have populations of temporary inhabitants that reside within it for days or weeks at a time in temporary encampments due to the lack of any colonies or outposts.
