The Voidzone is an Enigmatic Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a chaotic assortment of connected rooms which often house common themes of magenta-coloured walls or unusual messaging, being by far one of the most unusual locations to be discovered within the Backrooms. When it was first discovered the Voidzone was completely inaccessible despite being known of due to a strange barrier separating it from the rest of the Backrooms, however this phenomenon was eventually circumvented once travellers gained to the Voidzone thru a cavern discovered within the In Between.

Upon entering the Voidzone you first appear in a illuminated room that leads into a pitch black hallway, which then leads to a larger dark room with a massive pit in the middle which can often be hard to spot and must be avoided enter the chaos maze area which consists of a invisible maze surrounded by seemingly random colours and objects which leads to the Intersection which if climbed up will grant access to 3 directions. The first of these paths leads to the Second Intersection which has entrances to the Tree Area, which is a small area with vegetation, fires, trees, and unusual messaging, the Fortress which is a small area consisting mainly of bricks, and the Facility which is yet to be accessed. The second path from the Intersection leads to a hallway with three doors along its sides, with the first 2 doors leading to a disorienting maze of magenta, checkerboard, and grey hallways with no apparent purpose, and final third door leading to a collection of rooms built out of magenta-coloured bricks. The final path from the Intersection leads oone up to the Whale Area, a massive empty room with nothing but floating whales suspended in the air which houses the Insurgency's People's Council Base at its end.

Demographics

Due to its heavily isolated and difficult to access nature, only 2-6 transitory visitors exist within the Voidzone at any given time, though this isolation has also made it a point of interest for groups such as the Insurgency against Earthly Colonization of the Backrooms, which has established the fairly large 'People's Council Base' here. The People's Council Base has a permanent population of around 53 individuals as of 438, whom have access to amenities such as various meeting rooms, a theatre, a cafeteria, leisurely activities, a library, computers, and much more while still maintaining a heavily fortified position with traps and escape passages designed to thwart any attacks by their enemies such as the SDSB.
