The Neverending Staircase is a Liminal Sub-Space within the Backrooms System that takes the form of a vast stone staircase upon entry. The aforementioned staircase makes up most of the level, extending nearly a kilometer in each direction, although it does have a "end". This "end" takes the form of a series of rooms at the top of the staircase[1], containing a series of boiler rooms and a warehouse. The staircase itself is made of stone, and has railings to prevent falling.
Demographics
There are no permanent settlements within the Neverending Staircase, although at any given time a population of 2-15 transitory visitors exist within it.
