Purities are entities that are created when an individual in the Backrooms System are subject to long-term sanity-boosting effects, transforming them into a manic aggressive entity that attacks on sight. They strive to 'purify' insanities and normal Humans with a purity-inducing aura that surrounds them, converting those they capture into more instances of themselves.
Purities are very strong, making defeating them a difficult process, therefore it is recommended to attempt to escape instead. They are notably blind in dark environments, making this the preferred way to make them lose track of you.
