The Latina Nuclear Plant is a Liminal Transitional Space connecting the Backrooms System and Timeline-002 (via Macanaland, Theia) that takes the form of of a vast partially destroyed nuclear powerplant surrounded by forests and additional structures that could be found next to such a structure. The powerplant itself is seemingly derived from plans written up by Macanese architects for a proposed powerplant in Delacor, Macanaland that was scrapped in favour of expanding their agricultural industry, only for the project to be recreated as a Transitional Space allowing people from both Macanaland and the Backrooms to both access it while remaining unable to cross over to the other side, regardless making the location a perfect rendezvous point for communication between the two dimensions. The main flaw for the space's use as such a location is that the nuclear plant itself has undergone a massive meltdown, rendering the entire area radioactive and dilapidated as fallout and collapsing structures render the area largely uninhabitable.
Demographics
Due to its persistent radiological and structural hazards, long-term habitation of the Latina Nuclear Plant has been deemed unsustainable and often lethal, leading to it only having a population of 4-25 transitory visitors or occasional "permanent" inhabits attempting to make use of the area as a communication hub. The only known entity to inhabit this space are known as 'Latina Ravagers', which are described as corpse-like malformed humanoid creatures that are known to be incredibly hostile upon anyone they manage to catch sight of.
Despite its lack of habitability, its lack of a sustainable populace and accessibility to both baseline reality and the Backrooms has made the Latina Nuclear Plant a region of notable interest to the SDS Foundation and its associates in the SDSB, establishing the covertly operating "Xenobiological-Site-17" to preform some of the SDS' less "acceptable" research studies in a covert environment.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Making your way to one of the the tower-like structures on top of the Decrepit Hospital by traversing thru the forbidden areas will lead you here.
- You can simply walk off the side away from the inhabited areas within The Railway to find this sub-space.
- Accidentally or intentionally noclipping within some construction sites in the Theian region of Macanaland will send you here.
Exits
- Walking back to The Railway is possible to anyone who didn't arrive from Macanaland.
- Those who arrive this sub-space thru Macanaland are able to return via noclipping.
