Chapter 1
The wind blows across the plains of Orientalis.
It sweeps up and over Gensokyo.
...shielded from the outside world.
What was once a figurehead of democracy, now a hermit nation.
Since the Annihilation, Gensokyo has reverted back to it's ancient traditions, forever changed by the Three.
At border control...
"Hello."
"Please state reason of entry."
"We are diplomats from Iujadogia."
"Confirming request from the High Priests."
"Hmmmm."
"Alright. You are permitted entry. Here is your permit. Return through this gate within 96 hours or you will be apprehended."
Sigh "Strict.."
"Welp, we best board the train to Sanctorio quickly."
Later... on the train.
??? says "Pleasant."
??? says "Indeed, it is."
A conductor walks up the embroidered aisle.
"Tickets please."
??? says "Here you go."
The conductor looks at the tickets.
"Hmm... random check-up."
"Date of birth?"
??? says "April 25th..... uh.... oh yeah. 189."
"Alright.. full name?"
??? says "Aldren Tremar."
"Aldren Aleksandr Tremar."
DIVIDER
Monks are meditating by the Statue of the Defender of Tranquility.
A monk says "I sense a disturbance."
"A poison has entered our veins."
"And he is heading towards..."

"He is heading here."
"Inform the Saishi."
DIVIDER
Aldren and the other woman step off of the train.
Aldren says "Well, Alana."
"Didn't you yearn for such beauty?"
Alana says "Of course..."
"Frozen for so long."
"Ah."
??? says "Hello. You must be our esteemed guests."
Aldren says "Hello, yes, Saishi."
The Saishi says "I have received gratitudes from Iujadogia, and they wish to conduct further trade deals - that is correct?"
Alana says "Yes."
the Saishi says "Very well."
They walk towards the statue.
the Saishi says "....And here we have the statue of The Defender of Tranquility."
The Saishi kneels before the statue and prays.
The two also bow their heads respectfully.
"Tenno. We ask for your blessings."
"Let them pour down upon this cursed land."
"Free flowing, as fluid as water."
"Be with us."
"Be with us...."
Alana clutches a pendant in her hand.
She holds it out, and it floats into the air.
Aldren whispers "Beautiful, isn't it?"
"It's a shame, though."
Alana says "Indeed.."
"I... I sort of wish these could become real."
"Hahaha... haha... oh...."
"Tenno."
The statue's eyes open.
The wings begin to droop, and the flowing of the water ceases.
The grass all around begins to shrink, as if retreating into the soil
The colours of the flora fade away.
And the blue tinge of light that soars over the horizon flashes away.
the Saishi stares up in horror as the statue turns it's head
The trees begin dying, and wolves howl all around
Aldren looks up to see a growing spot of red light
It grows bigger by the moment, before quickly engulfing the sky.
It shrinks as it falls down to the ground, materialising as a person.
The statue slowly turns it's head to face the person
"........"
Aldren grabs Alana's hand and runs.
The Saishi scrambles away.
The statue crumbles away, also leaving a woman with angel wings.
The horizons around them have withered to monochrome.
Storms rage across Gensokyo.
The man holds up his hands.
"Relinquish."
The storms cease.
The life begins to grow back on the withered lands, as everything regains colour.
Tenno says "...."
"You have found it.."
"The answer..."
Nihilantis says "To free you? Yes."
"You needn't imprison yourself for eternity.."
"Not for this."
Nihilantis says "Come."
"We must gather our brethren."
The two run off down the hill, heading eastwards.
Aldren says "Is it done?"
Alana says "Yes."
"The two are reunited."
"They head eastwards."
"They are searching for Pilirin."
Aldren says "Hmm.."
"Would they be able to... extract him?"
Alana says "You know better than to underestimate the divine."
"..."
"Yet... they are weakened."
"They need our assistance, don't they?"
"However. They cannot know."
"If they uncover our motives..."
"We will drown in fire."
Aldren says "And once we have all of them.."
Alana says "Yes."
"Yata will be next."
"Though... some time will be needed."
"They have forgotten about their gods."
"Their... real gods."
"And we can't let them off for that... Can we?"
Aldren says "Correct."
"They should know better than to disrespect those who created them."
"Well... what now?"
Alana says "Now? Now we wait."
"They will get their help when they need it the most."
Chapter 2
Tenno and Nihilantis draw close to the statue of Pilirin in Baiame.
Tenno says "Oh wow."
"I always thought his statue would be unique."
Nihilantis says "Yeah."
"Now that I think about it.. You have a lot to see."
"Encased in a statue for thousands of years.."
They approach the statue.
They both place their palm upon the statue and meditate.
DIVIDER
Carbonado climbs to the top of the kilometres-high shaft.
He hears distant snarls - probably of the same creature.
He paces back to Andrei and Oliver.
He knocks on their door.
Andrei lets him in.
Andrei says "How is it?"
Carbonado says "Jimmy is dead."
"The backup generators have blown."
Oliver says "Oh.. is that why it's so cold?"
Carbonado says "Cold.."
"So cold..."
"And that's why the power's off."
"The wires short circuited..."
"There's been a superconduction."
Andrei says "What do you mean?"
Carbonado says "Where the generators are... were.."
"The air froze."
Oliver says "And that's why the core stopped?"
Carbonado says "Yes."
"And thats why the core won't turn on again."
"TERAPRO has experienced a freezedown."
Andrei says "So what do we do?"
Carbonado says "We have to go to the circuit breakers."
Oliver says "Aren't those.."
"Under the facility?"
"Like.. completely under it?"
Carbonado says "Correct."
"This facility stretches 4km deep into the cavity."
"A tunnel then goes another 4km diagonally down."
"Down there is another cave."
"An abandoned project is there.."
"But it also houses the facility's circuit breakers."
"Now normally, we could just take the elevator down."
"But.. yeah."
"Luckily, the wiring runs through the tunnel openly."
"We could still get down there."
Andrei says "How cold could it be down there?"
Carbonado says "Well."
"It should be 85 degrees down there."
"Celsius."
"But right now?"
"It's cold enough to freeze nitrogen."
Andrei says "We'd die.."
Carbonado says "Our doors are frozen."
"The radios are down."
"There are thousands of people waiting in the hangars for evacuation."
"And if we don't do anything, those people will freeze to death."
Andrei says "Let's go."
"What gear do we have?"
Carbonado says "Portable heaters and winter coats."
Oliver says "We're dead."
"We're so dead..."
DIVIDER
Tenno says "Hear us."
Nihilantis says "Hear us."
The statue moves.
Pilirin says "I hear you."
Pilirin says "..."
"Oh my god.."
"It's you two.."
"What is happening?!"
The statue shrinks to human size, and Pilirin holsters his electro-staffs.
Tenno says "It is time."
"People have forgotten."
"People must be reminded."
Pilirin says "So we are locating everyone?"
Tenno says "Yes we are."
Nihilantis says "Who next?"
Tenno says "Minerva."
Nihilantis says "Oh right."
"Him..."
"I understand why we are going to Minerva now.."
Tenno spreads her wings and grabs the other two gods hands, and flies in the direction of Paraleis.
Chapter 3
Three mysterious people enter the Parthenon.
They stand idly on the stairs of the Parthenon.
Acastus asks them what they are doing.
Tenno says "We seek the statue of Aeneas."
Acastus Says Oh! well uh.
The statue is nearly directly south of here at the bay.. I can take you if you want?
Nihilantis says "That would be appreciated."
Acastus leads them across a stone path, with buildings nearby somewhat damaged by the war that just occured.
Pilirin says "Hmm.."
"Something happened here.."
"I feel slight unease.."
Acastus says Yeah.. There was a war just recently
The city states of Paraleis entered war against eachother and Moria unified them..
Tenno says "If only we weren't so late.."
I don't really know what to think about it. The morians have always been a bit extreme and militaristic. But atleast Leontios wants revenge for what Miraak did to us a decade ago
Tenno says "What?"
"I mean.. huh.."
What? Did you not hear?
"No... no nothing.."
"Don't worry."
Tenno walks over to Nihilantis
Tenno whispers "I haven't heard that name in a long time.."
Nihilantis says "Who? Miraak?"
Tenno says "Yes."
Nihilantis says "You and Pilirin have... missed a lot."
Miraak, who according to our old texts was the former god of this land became in charge of a powerful human nation to the south... They had all these futuristic technologies and ships which they used to blow up most of paraleis into ruins killing many of us..
Nihilantis says "Yeah.."
Tenno says "I remember that name.."
Only because the Proletarian Council dissaproved of them discriminating against the southern Aethras.
"This... this was milennia ago."
"Why is he-"
They approach the statue.
Tenno says "Thank you, Acastus."
Acastus says You're welcome!
Tenno says "And.. I'm sorry we were too late."
Acastus says It's fine... No worries... The war was bound to happen
Atleast we're one unite dpeople now instead of cosntantly bickering with eachother
Tenno says "Well.."
"Who wants to do the honours?"
Pilirin says "On it."
Pilirin activates his electro staffs
Pilirin says "Everyone please stand back."
Acastus stands back but is mildly confused on whats happening
He hurls himself at the statue, striking it with the staffs
Channeling his strength, he thrusts the staffs deep into the statue
The statue begins channelling the Electro energy, and the 5 gemstones begin to glow
The red gemstone at the centre begins to shake vigorously and grow extremely bright
It detaches from the statue and falls to the ground
Acastus says i-
As it falls, Pilirin pulls the staffs out of the statue, and jumps superhumanly high into the air, grasping the gemstone with the staffs.
Pulling them apart, a man identical in form to the statue emerges from thin air.
Pilirin lands back down again, holstering the staffs.
Aeneas says "..."
"Tenno?"
"Nihilantis?"
"Pilirin?!"
"What happened?!"
"Wh-"
Tenno says "It's okay."
"It's okay.."
"A lot has happened since you last took your physical form."
Acastus says Wha?!
Acastus says Aeneas?! I'm honoured to meet you.. Sorry i didn't expect you to come so i'm not really in my best clothing...
Aeneas says "Oh- I- Uh-"
"It really has been a while.."
Tenno says "Your people still hold you in their hearts.."
Aeneas says "That's uh.."
"Agh.."
"Sorry.. I really am sorry.."
"I just need a moment.."
He sits, resting against the statue of himself
Aeneas says "Take me up to speed.."
"What's happened?"
Acastus says Uh... I am a historian myself so i have been taking records of whats been happening
Uh, Paraleis was restored about 50 years ago?
We were fairly in peace until the city states entered war and many of them collapsed and are now without rule somewhere in the wilderness
Then we entered a nother era of unstable peace
Then Miraak came back in charge of a human nation in the south
Aeneas says "Oh my god.."
They had very advanced technology and flying machines which they used to bomb us to the ground because our council dissaproved on how they were treating aethras
So ever since then we've been rebuilding
Aeneas says "Miraak.."
"Poison. Pure poison."
"Let me get at him.. Let me- AAA"
Tenno restrains him
Tenno says "STOP!"
"Stop it.."
"Don't.."
Just now there was a war between basically all of the remaining city states that survived in which King Leontios unified Paraleis... He wants revenge on polsk for what they did and is considering an alliance with Kanar....
Nihilantis says "You don't know how strong they have become.."
Tenno says "Sorry?"
"Paraleis wants to ally... Kanar?"
I mean
Kanar is the only other nation which really is focused on ending polsk
Nihilantis says "I suppose."
After Miraak's forces attacked them and completely wiped out everything on the surface that remained
Only survivors were in caves..
"We are seeking out all the gods."
"Oh uh..."
"We should introduce ourselves."
Kanar isn't what it used to be...
Its a small state in the desert now in a crater..
Oh?
Tenno says "I am Tenno. God of Dendro, Peace, and of Gensokyo."
Nihilantis says "I am Nihilantis, god of Hydro, Intuition and of Aquilae."
Pilirin says "I am Pilirin, god of Electro, Life and of Baiame."
Aeneas says "We're getting the Nine back together?!"
Tenno says "Yeah."
Acastus says Wait.. How did i not notice? I'm sorry haha...
I guess it has been a while since we've seen any gods..
"I'm sure you know Kanar worships Aireskoi."
"Him and I go... way back."
"As the oldest gods, we've known each other since, well.. forever."
"Aireskoi is the God of War."
"I am the God of peace.."
"As for Miraak.."
"I am afraid I cannot intervene."
Kanar isn't really a thing anymore for the most part... It's just a small country in a desert called Q'nar....
"But I can seek out Aireskoi for you. We have the power to wake him up again."
"He's... always been the aggressive type, so we are going to find him last."
"Just for safety.."
Acastus says Fair enough..
"Hopefully, if we can get Kanar their deity back.."
"We could potentially garner the power to combat the Polsk threat."
Aeneas says "Ahhh.."
Polsk still seems to be out for Paraleis... Just a year ago they showed up off our coasts and fired at us with their big metal boats
"So we need the power of the other 8 to wake him up."
Aeneas says "A year ago?!"
Yeah..
They bombed us to the ground about a decade ago
But they still show up sometimes and as far as we know probobally still treat the southern Aethra badly
Aeneas says "So what provoked Miraak.. or even Polsk.. to do this."
Our council dissaproved of them treating the southern aethra badly
That's literally it.
Nihilantis says "That's the thing."
"No one messes with Polsk."
"I haven't been in this form for a long time."
"I've been the star for centuries."
They're also responsible for attacks against other nations..
"But I've watched down on Theia from afar. I've seen what Polsk can do."
They tried to invade and take over Treimaria but due to Iujadogia trying to protect Treimaria by joining the war they attacked Iujadogia too..
Tenno says "Nihilantis..."
"I'm so so-"

"Triton."
Nihilantis says "Ah yes."
"As far as I am aware... Triton is alive and well."
"Acastus."
"Show us to a snow-capped mountain."
"If you can."
Alright... I can
There's a nation to the north of us called Dina
They are a human nation but they've never gone to war and have promoted peace and acceptance and treat aethrans well... So i think that's the best place that isnt far away
Nihilantis says "Dina!"
"Whenever Sanmor wasn't controlling me, I would always look down upon Dina."
"It truly is an abode of peace."
Tenno says "You were controlled?"
"Is that why you-"
Nihilantis says "Tenno."
"Pilirin... Aeneas.."
"I am so sorry."
"For what I did.."
"And I'll explain everything..."
"I will... I promise I will... but we have a mission."
Tenno says "That was sudden."
Nihilantis says "That's the regret speaking."
"Please. Take us to Dina."
Tenno spreads her wings
Tenno says "How about you guide us to Dina?"
"Grab my hand."
Acastus says O-okay!
Acastus takes Tenno's hand and begins guiding
After a while of flying they see the land end and a river and sea emerge with bridges across it
They see a large yellow mansion with a flag and park
A little bit behind it they start to see the terrain get snowier
They keep going north, everything seems to become cold and snowy.
Until they reach a series of large volcanoes filled with ice and water.
Acastus says Are these good..? There is some normal mountains a bit to the east as far as im aware.
Nihilantis says "Perfect."
Tenno lands in the snow
Pilirin says "Brrrrr.... so.... cold...."
Tenno says "now.."
"We are not even in Treimaria."
"But Triton can be summoned.. as long as we have his element."
"It's a complicated ritual, but-"
Nihilantis says "Let me."
"Please."
"It's time I made amends.."
Tenno says "No.. you don't have to."
"Triton understands what happened.."
Nihilantis says ".."
Nihilantis says "I brought torment and destruction."
"Even when I tried to communicate.."
"I got no answer."
"Let me do this."
Nihilantis walks to the center platform
"O Tríton."

The snow begins to swirl around Nihilantis.
Tenno says ‘’Woah..’’
Acastus says Whoa...
Acastus says This is so pretty...
Triton says "Nihilantis."

Nihilantis begins to cry

The snow dissipates
Tenno says "Oh.."
Nihilantis falls to the ground sobbing
Pilirin sees a figure in the distance
Pilirin says "Is that.."
Aeneas says "TRITON!"
Aeneas runs towards Triton
Triton encases Aeneas in ice, and pushes him back towards Tenno
The Block of ice simply slides its way back
Tenno says "I-"
"AHAHAHA..."
"Same old Triton.."
Tenno and Pilirin laugh in joy
Nihilantis looks up
He sees Triton, dressed head to toe in thick, powerful armour
He towers over Nihilantis, double his height
Nihilantis says "I'M SORRY..."
Nihilantis hugs his leg
Triton, shocked, can only pat his head gently
Mechanical whirrs are heard as he does
Triton looks up to see Aeneas, now melted, and also Pilirin and Tenno.
Triton says "Ah."
"Family reunion, hmm?"
The gods gather together
Triton says "Tenno.. Pilirin.. Aeneas.."
"It's been so long!"
Triton walks over to them, carrying Nihilantis on his leg, who is still crying
Acastus doesn't really know what to say but tries to be respectful
Triton turns to Acastus
Triton says "And who may this be?"
Tenno says "A friend we made in Aethra."
"He guided us here so we could find you!"
Triton says "Wait.."
"All 4 of you came to look for me?"
"But why?"
Nihilantis says "Bec- because I am no longer a th-threat.."
Acastus say I'm honoured to meet you triton...
Triton says "The pleasure is mine."
"Thank you for reuniting me with them."

Tenno says "There's more."
Aeneas explains the Polsk situation
Triton says "Ah..."
Acastus explains the more indepth details of what miraak was doing to the native nations

Acastus says Im pretty sure Treimaria is fairly damaged from their attack on the tritons too..
Aeneas says "Come on, you think I hate him?"
Triton says "Indeed it has been."
"I myself have regrettably been unable to repel their attack."
Acastus says We were hit very hard... I guess it's because of our proximity but our land is devastated
They enter the villa, and Triton exits his armor suit.
Tenno says "Whew.. Fancy."
It is indeed a luxurious villa.
Triton says "Luckily.."
"I have been able to maintain my vitality through my believers."
"Especially the ever-growing amount of followers I have on planet Yata."
Tenno freezes
Tenno says "Planet... Yata?"
Acastus says Huh? You have followers on Yata?
Tenno says "Yata..."
"What remains of their gods?"
Nihilantis says "They have all but vanished."
"Except for one."
"And even then, they only exist in spirit."
Pilirin says "What do you mean?"
Triton says "They are worshipped."
"But nothing has been seen of them in a long time."
"The rest of the gods disappeared milennia ago during the Dissociation."
Acastus says Huh

Tenno says "Wait.. sorry."
"The dissociation>?"
Nihilantis says "Yes. Do you not remember?"
Aeneas says "No..."
Triton says "That's because it happened when Miraak was the God of Geo."
Tenno says "OOOOH..."

"The dissociation.."
"Our acquaintances on Yata simply vanished one day."
"When a multitude of people simply... stopped believing."
Triton says "Only one of those are still worshipped. The rest of the religions were born anew."
Tenno says "And who is that one god?"
Triton says "Our old friend. Marzann."

Aethra says "Complementary.. as to be expected."
Triton says "He ruled over Pscanto."
"It still exists today, as a nation called The Confederacy."
"Not many of his followers remain, but belief in him remains ever active."
Tenno says "Come to think of it.."
"Didn't we all have a fellow deity on planet Yata?"
"What happened to Izanami?"
"She was such a benevolent goddess... so beautiful and kind.."
Nihilantis says "Odin.."

Acastus says Hum..
Triton says "Not even I know if they could ever be brought back to existence."
Pilirin says "What about me?"

"All my people had disappeared."
Acastus says Maybe the Bikadikas worship you or something..? Despite them being in what was Aireskoi's area? They are right on the border so maybe..?
Triton says "That is a good point."
"You have believers, surely."
"You don't know where they are... or who they are."
"That is all."
Tenno says "But we could at least find Marzann.."
Pilirin says "Why?"
"I understand finding the Nine.. but why Yata's gods?"
Tenno says "It's not just about Polsk."
"I want to find the truth."
"Why Yata lost it's faith.."
"and why Theia and Yata lost it's elemental capability.."
Triton says "Let me stop you there."
"As a matter of fact, the people of Lilaciah still rejoice in their ability to channel elemental abilities, and still have faith in Hecate."
Tenno says "Hecate is still alive?!"
"Oh... that is good."
"So why did the rest of Theia's abilities... vanish?"
"And what about Yata?"
"Don't you want to find out, Pilirin?"
Acastus says Maybe it was the hundereds of years of Theia drifting through space frozen over? Perhaps survivors underground weren't feeling very very optimistic during that..?
Triton says "Mine sure were.."
"But even they lost their ability.."
Tenno says "Besides.."
"How are we ever going to get to Yata? It's light years away.. possibly more.."
Nihilantis says "Uhhh.... uhm..."
"Who's going to tell her?"
Theia and Yata are in the same system now
Tenno says "Theia and Yata are in the-"
During the whole... that Theia was ejected from its system

And it flew through space for 400 years.
Nihilantis looks at Acastus with regret

The room is silent.
Nihilantis says "Oh..."

Tenno says "So we should be able to just... find a way to travel that short distance."
Nihilantis says "Yes. Commercial space flights run out of Gensokyo, as a matter of fact."
Tenno says "..."
"So Gensokyo has... spread beyond."
She sighs.
"I supposed this was inevitable.."
Nihilantis says "Not too long ago, the High Priests seized total control."
Acastus says Huh? they still do that?
I thought Gensokyo closed itself off from the outside world?
"They kidnapped some person...who happens to be me at the same time, to find me."
"I mean..."

"Ok.. Long story short."
"The High Priests control the barrier."
"It's open almost all the time, but periodically it's closed when malicious things occur."
Tenno says "What kinds of malicious things.."
Nihilantis says "Oh.. you know."

"Usually it's to protect from aerial bombardment by... our mutual friend Polsk..."
Acastus says But Polsk never bombed gensokyo? Despite them being at war that one time..
"That one time is enough for the High Priests."

Tenno says "So my High Priests.. are bad people.."
Triton says "It's difficult to say."
"They do have their malicious tendencies to get their own way.."
"But since Gensokyo shut off the barrier, it's grown into a centre of commerce, trade, transport and culture."
"It's still one of the most peaceful, most happiest places on Theia."
Tenno says "That's.... reassuring."

Nihilantis says "Yeah."
Dina's strange, It's almost as if it is destined to always be a utopia
"Gensokyo today has split into the peaceful countries north of the Yanz River and the war-torn nations south of it."

Theres a ongoing war on both sides of the river
Tenno says "Oh.. my heart.."
Nihilantis comforts Tenno.
Nihilantis says "We sure digress.."
"Where were we?"
"Ah, yes."
"We can get to Yata easily."

Triton says "Alright.. show off."

Triton presses a button on his phone

Pilirin says "Shouldn't we find the Nine before we go to Yata?"

"Think of this as an enrichment opportunity."
A ship lands outside
Tenno says "As for me.."
"I am going to find Minerva and Hecate."
Triton says "Then we will stop at Doluro to find Varuna."
Tenno says "Is she alive too?"
Triton says "Indeed she is."
"Although she has kept to Doluro after the war against Kanar..."
"She's well... I suppose."
Tenno says "Oh yeah... the war."
"That... Acastus.."
"That's why we are saving Aireskoi until last.."

Triton says "Well.."

Nihilantis, Pilirin and Aeneas board the ship

Everything goes back to normal

They board a train bound for Tritoniyagrad.
They hear the voice of Amon now "Zurvan, rise and join us. Bring your pack. There is essence where we go."
As the train pulls out of Mylonagrad, they watch the skyscrapers go past.

She stands up and walks to the balcony that looks over waterfalls and lakes that stretch beyond the horizon
She is wearing a long, elegant, gem-lined robe
Nihilantis sips his tea.
Varuna says "Doluro is the Realm of the Night."

"We rise into the sky."
"And we look down upon the darkness."

All of them hear the Graveminds voice again, time and their vision becomes warped and green once again

It is a stormy day, and the clouds are purple and striking lightning, but no rain falls.
The port is lined with banners with the symbol of the Endless Knot.
Armored soldiers are stationed everywhere.
Tenno says "What happened to this place..."
They walk up the mountain paths towards a palace
The storms grow louder, but no rain falls.
Purple liquids stored in vats can be seen on top of the houses that line the streets.
The wind picks up, and the banners begin fluttering
Minerva says "There's... a real motif going on here."
"All these logos.."
"The Endless Knot.."
"Hecate.."
They look at the palace, and her statue stands out in front of it
They approach it, and see hundreds standing around it in a circle, praising and worshipping the statue.
Tenno says "...sacred vista, omen of death."
They walk up to the steps to the palace
Guards hold out their swords, stopping them.
"HALT THERE."
"NO COMMONERS ARE PERMITTED INTO THE PALACE".
Tenno says "We are not commoners."
"We are... old friends of Hecate."
The guard says "How dare you utter her name, you filthy SCUM."
The guard backs her away
Tenno spreads her wings
Minerva grabs her hand
They fly over the guards
The guard says "We have a breach."
"Two people are breaching the palace."
More guards gather at the entrance
Minerva holds out her sword
Tenno holds out her shield, and holds her sword backwards.
Minerva says "Tenno."
"You intend to fight?"
Tenno says "Haven't we all changed?"
The guards charge towards them
Minerva runs forward and holds her sword out, spinning.
The guards are caught by her blade
The Graveminds voice booms in everyone's head
"AAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!"
Tenno also runs, taking hits on the shield and using it to render her opponents vulnerable
They both feel weak.
Tenno says "AAAH.."
Minerva says "You feel it too?!"
"We... must push on!!"
They defeat the guards and enter the palace.
Their swords drip with blood as they walk through the corridors.
The guards look on from the sides, too scared to engage.
"It's okay.. her highness will defeat them easily."
"Let her finish this."
They enter the throne room.
The room is cladded with diamond, gold, and rubies.
They gleam from the light emitting from the chandeliers.
They see the golden throne in the centre, with two pipes filled with purple liquid pulsing through it.
Guards line every corner of the room, standing their ground.
Hecate sits on the throne, twitching with every pulse of the liquid.
She stands up.
Hecate says "You."
"You dare enter my realm, again?"
She pulls out her void staff.
Tenno and Minerva hold their swords.
Hecate steps down from the throne.
Hecate says "..."
"So be it."
"May the void consume you."
Hecate lunges at the two, attacking them with the staff
Void energy pours out from both ends as she strikes.
It pools on the floor, burning to the touch.
Tenno says "AGH!"
Minerva slashes at Hecate
Hecate pushes Tenno to the ground and defends herself against Minerva
Tenno gathers to her feet and witnesses their struggle
They feel the eyes of Miraak and his Allies, far away
She runs towards Hecate, but is stopped.
A void creature, having emerged from the pool of void energy pulls her back.
Minerva stops pushing against Hecate, and falls backwards, rolling.
Tenno slashes the creature behind her, and runs towards Hecate again.
Minerva also runs towards her.
Hecate dupl;icates her staff, and repels both attacks.
Hecate says "Surrender."
A wave of void energy repels the two back to the ground.
Tenno says "What do we do.."
"She's too powerful.."
Minerva says "The pipes.."
"The energy.."
"We need to destroy them.."
Tenno gets up and runs away from Hecate
Minerva engages with her.
Hecate says "Bold. Too bold."
She quickly attacks her, leaving Minerva in a grave state.
Reviving, Minerva stands up again.
Hecate says "The Goddess of Rebirth saving the day.."
"PITIFUL. PITIFUL!"
Tenno turns around and runs towards the throne
Hecate senses her intentions and hurtles a staff at her, and she falls over.
The staff levitates, and slams to the ground.
Tenno, left weak, is left to dodge the hits.
Hecate says "Let the void CONSUME YOU!"
She throws her staff up, causing a void rain.
Each droplet burns intensely.
Tenno says "AGH!"
They crawl away from Hecate.
Hecate says "You fools."
"The gall you must've had to step foot upon my realm.."
"After everything."
"I-"
Hecate is knocked over by a wave.
Tenno says "Huh?!"
Nihilantis says "Hecate."
"Cease."
Hecate says "..."
Triton and Marzann stand behind him
Hecate says "I will not stand down."
"Not on the doorstep of my own realm."
"VOID!"
She leashes the Gods in void chains
their vision gets warped, and time seems to slow down, they hear miraak say: "PUNY FOOLS! YOU CANT EVEN WORK TOGETHER! HAHAHAHAHAHAH!"
Hecate says "Wait. What was th-"
the chains break free
the warp stops
Nihilantis says "NOW!"
Marzann and Triton throw spears at the pipes
They continue to hear the whispers of Miraak and his allies
They burst, spewing huge amounts of void energy
Hecate falls comatose
They grab her and run down the corridor
A wave of void energy pools behind them
Triton says "RUN!"
They run down the palace stairs as the void liquid chases after them
They run around the statue, and the crowd sees the void wave
The crowd runs down the hill, causing a huge stampede
They run onto the ship just as the void energy begins to pool around their feet
They take off as they watch all of the vats of void energy in the city deplete.
The spear of Adun, miraaks flagship, warps in above them
"What is that?!"
Triton says "Huh?!"
the ship is over 20km in length, and is absolutely massive
Nihilantis says "QUICK, GET OUT OF HERE!"
They all feel miraak and allies on board it
It begins charging it's weapon
Hecate falls in an out of consciousness.
She looks out the window, seeing the destruction that void energy is causing in Lilaciah.
it fires two blue beams at the ship
they make a short jump to hyperspace just in time.
The ship arrives at Doluro, and flies down to Varuna's palace.
They land on the landing pad, where Pilirin, Varuna and Aeneas are waiting.
Tenno stumbles out weakly, Minerva is gravely injured, and Hecate is comatose.
Varuna says "You did it.."
"What happened?"
They enter the palace.
They all hear Vitars voice time slows, and their vision warps

He hears faint whispers in the air.
"We're here, Marzann."
"We are forgotten, but not gone.."

The winds pick up
A ghostly cloaked figure appears in front of Marzann
"Quick, do not hesitate."

Marzann reaches out.
His vision grows blurry, and a void envelops him.
He appears in a pitch black room, without discernible edges.
The figure materialises.

"Is that you?"
He reaches out to touch her
He feels her physical presence.

"It's not a shame you weren't forgotten was it?"

Inua takes his hand and leads him into a house in the pitch black void.

It notices, snarls, and begins running

They run across the catwalk

As it nears the middle, the bridge snaps in half.
The creature screams as it falls down to the flood below.

Tenno swings around and grabs the creature by the neck.
Vines come out of her hand, and she envelops the creature in grass.
She chucks it to the ground.

"Where is he?"

A sudden gust of wind starts pulling everyone towards the edge of the window
The surroundsings begin to glow with purple energy, overwhelming the green.
"Shit."
Carbonado is clinging onto the ledge, and his hands begin to slip.
Tenno slides down and grabs his hand
Tenno tries to pull him up, but a force holds him down.
Miraak holds his arms out, and attempts to hold back the reaction
The purple force grows stronger in reaction.

The shell of the fusion reactor begins to crack, and purple light is emitted.

A huge rumble shakes the facility as the force pulls Carbonado and Tenno apart.

She lays down the grass body in the snow.
The helicopters have their blade rotating
They are about to take off

They take off
She watches it fly away as the ground under her feet rumbles intensely
She reaches into her hair and pulls out a hairpin
Her long, flowing hair falls into the snow.
She holds the hairpin outwards, studying the end.
Tenno says "I'm sorry."
She holds the hairpin, and snaps it.
A wave of green energy bursts out of it in a spherical area, enveloping the land around her.
She waves her hand forward, and the shield moves to encase TERAPRO.
She takes the grass body and steps outside of the shield, and time freezes inside of it.
She lays the body in the snow.
Tenno says "I had a feeling you were the right one..."
She caresses the face of the body and the grass retreats.
A human man is revealed underneath.
He grunts and turns, waking up.
Tenno says "The Realm of the Forgotten is a dark place.."
"The Land of the Living is the only true atonement for sin."

The blast door slowly opens
They see that the control panel readouts still read that Ingalina is running at dangerous levels on three out of four reactors to keep Theia sustained, even though the panel is frozen in time
Purple cracks glow from the walls
Tenno says "Wait... wait, Pilirin."
"That purple energy..."
"Can you absorb it?"
Pilirin says "D..do you.."
"Are you thinking what I am?"
Tenno says "I think that could be electro energy..."
Pilirin says "Wait... are we too late?"

"The reactor has stopped it's ability to contain all the energy."

They walk down the corridor to the reactor
The windows reveal the cave, and they see how destroyed the facility has become

They enter the reactor control room
They see Tenno's time forcefield enclosing the reactor on the brink of explosion

Tenno waves her hand across the window
The reactor repairs itself

Tenno says "Now we retrieve the energy."
She flies down to the reactor cells.
She brings Pilirin with her, resting him on the catwalk.

It begins to glow with intense purple light

The reactor begins to flash purple and white intensively, blinding the two

The protoss units all work as one, their thoughts connected, their moves are so exactingly coordinated with one another that they take Tenno and Pilirin by surprise

The templar break the shield

They continue moving

He begins channelling the purple energy

He punches forward, sending a lightning bolt out of his fist
The archon is shocked, but a large shield around it flares up

Tenno escapes the archon and reels to a corner, absorbing her energy
A zealot runs up behind Tenno and attempts to stab her
She turns around and raises herself on a pillar from the ground
The stalkers blink around the reactor chamber, proving covering fire
The facility suddenly jolts
Pilirin says "Wh-"
Everyone, including Miraak's forces, are taken by surprise
The archon let's out a huge jolt of electricity and shocks Tenno
Pilirin says "Did the whole facility... just move-"
Tenno says "WH-"
She falls off her pillar, but casts a shrub below her to break her fall
The archon look up
"By the gods.."
Pilirin conjures a shield, holding his fists
A large beam on energy starts to form around each troop of miraaks forces
Pilirin grounds himself, and a swirling whirlwind of electro energy is conjured around him
Tenno gathers herself and gets to her feet
A series of squares move through and round them, and they seem to de materialize
they are gone, and the energy disappears

He releases his energy.

She grabs his hand and they run down the corridor.
Again, they look out the windows.
They see the facility sliding closer to the edge of the cave, a 5 kilometre drop.
Pilirin says "What have you done..."
They leave the facility, and Tenno closes the blast door
Pilirin stares at the door, panting.
After a minute, they hear muffled, but loud crashing and explosion sounds.
The blast door explosively decompresses.
Pilirin says "You destroyed it."
Tenno remains quiet.
Her eyes glow an envious green.
Tenno says "What matters to you does not matter the same to me."
"Nihilantis had good will."
"But he coaxed his people astray."

The trees turn yellow with Geo energy

As tenno flies towars gensokyo, The jungles of Sapporo seem to be restless..
The Crimson forest in tyhe centre that had been there for ages, seems to be shrinking and being healed

The area seems very strange, The crimson is shrinking leaf by leaf as it is seemingly being converted
And large spiekd vines havce started g rowing all over the area..
The ground seems to also be sinking in some points, with water manifesting within despite the lack of a source.

Her hands glow, and she touches one of the leaves.
The plants all around her resonate with Dendro energy.

The person looks like a elderly woman, seemingly in atleast her 90s or 100s.

The creature awakens it's immune system.

Many flood die, but there seems to be an endless amount

The creature shakes as previously hidden bones begin protruding into battle areas

Many of the flood soldiers die, but those that arent dismembered seem to get back up and continue fighting

The heart rate begins increasing.
The average tunnel width decreases below a metre.
All rooms, except armed bunkers, start closing in on themselves, crushing its occupants.
Miraak and his forces make one final attack on the flesh pit
Slowly, the flesh pit condenses into a creature only a kilometre wide.
Leaving a giant interior cave.
They begin using a series of bunker buster missiles to widen the hole, and make new holes
Through an orifice, the creature escapes to the surface.
It slowly morphs into a humanoid figure.

The creature finishes morphing.
Native Pit Fauna say aw hell na and start leaving thru the now exposed 11 entry orifices
It appears as a human with no skin, standing over a kilometre tall.

With the power of the night, he casts himself weapons of darkness.
A beacon of dark emanates from him.
He begins striding backwards, avoiding fire.
Gwyn and Miraak make a fire plasma storm around him
Vitar calls down lightning from the storm
A call to arms is received.
Istaran arrives upon a cloud.
His fingers run water as he flies through the sky.
He leaps and enters the creature.
With the power of water, he becomes fluid and agile.
Crouching down, he sprints across the land towards the battlecruisers.
Pilirin arrives.
With the power of electricity, he conjures the powers he gains.
The battlecruiser thrust upwards, and enter the upper atmospherer
Polsks fleet suddenly become invasable

She begins circling the black hole, increasing her speed each revolution
She reaches lightspeed, dodging fire

The black hole grows unstable
Hecate arrives

The mothership fires a beam into the black hole
This damages Theta severly

The room begins to fill with ice.
Theta stares up at the ever-closing star.
Gwyn, lord of cinder, lights his sword, and melts the ice

The singularity inside the ship collpses, and this time a real, non controlled black hole appears, and begins to swallow the ship inside out
Gravity starts to get really wonky was the black hole grows
Things on the surfave begin floating up into the air
The cloaking device fails, revealing the ships
They slowly drag down to the surface
Varuna says "They escaped!"

Theta begins healing through Minerva
Suddenly, Miraak and his gods begin their attack again
They begin drawing their power from an unknown source
They manage to puncture the shield Theta had created

Theta begins being bombarded from several similar looking thips from orbit
His shield begins to fail
Theta begins to crawl along the ground to the original entry of the pit, with every bomb hitting him further weakening him

He crawls to the flesh pit entrance, staring at piles of junk surrounding the entrance..
He feels an unearthly presence.
Seven friendly cruiser manned by old polsk Marines that arent pocessed and Kanar appear above the flesh pit, the older cruisers form a large Bubble shield around Osania
He picks up a white object.
Varuna says "What is that?"
Istaran says "Wait... no no no..."
"Theta.. what are you doing?!"
Theta says "I am left with no choice."
"There is but to do and die."

He picks up a white object.

A marine comes in on a dropship
The white object vanishes.
Slowly, a mask appears on his face.
the marine looks old, but still very fit, and is wearing a weather suit of Power armour
"We are here to get you all out of here."
Theta begins turning a pitch black.

The mask begins to glow.
He grows visibly stronger and taller.
"YOU DARE IMPEDE ME?"
He punches the ground
A huge surge of elemental energy awakens the land.
A humanoid figure the size of Theta emerges out of the land, and the two merge.
A thousand more figures the same size emerge.
Theta grows the highest among them.

Theia awakes.
"Endgame."
The figures all conjure elemental energy, which sucks all the energy from the planet.
They are revitalised into powerful beings just like Theta.
Coordinating, they all charge upon Miraak and the gods.
Huge waves of elemental energy batter the invaders.
The sky turns into night.
Miraak and his allies form a defense
Miraak draws more power from a large energy crystak in anor londo, and Him and his allies become stronger
Theia says "Yet you are no match for my spirit."
The thousand-army begins attacking Miraak's defense all at once.
Miraak makes his own army
The sheer power of elemental energy begins to penetrate through.
He throws his forces at the enemy
Soldiers made of rock and earth crawl from the ground
Through the power of stone, the army shields themselves from the erosion.
Theia resonates.
The will of the people empowers them.
"Leave this planet."
Miraak says: "Nihilantis where are you!?"
Yet the star gives no response.
In fact, it begins moving further away.
"That bitch!"
The star enters a warp-drive state.
Theta says "Ahah... AHAHAH!"
A massive storm arises around miraak
"CHARGE!"
a beam of light comes from his mouth and eyes, the storm thrusts everyone back
all of the gods merge with him
Likewise, the thousand-army begins consolidating in the same way.
thee storm condeses and explodes, with a huge explosion that can be seen from orbit
Miraak slipped into subspace
Theta says "Where did he-"
A gash forms under them in subspace, and they get dragged in

Miraak then seals the gash, and chases after Nihilantis at icredible speed
Nihilantis/Sanmor rematerialises over Skantos
Tenno, on the surface, looks up into the sky.
Tenno says "What is he-"

Miraak pops out of subspace and slams into Nihilantis
"No matter where I go..."
"The evil follows.**
The star reacts violently, releasing huge solar flares
Skantos begins to increase in heat.
Miraak appears inside of the star
He attacks nihilantis
Sanmor manipulates the reanimated Nihilantis.
he begins cursing at him in a language he cant understand
Anor Londo is battered in a huge solar flare.
It's heat spreads and envelops Skantos.
The burning air chokes many.
"RAAAA" Miraak forms a sword right in his hands
Sanmor appears behind Nihilantis.
He opens a tear, distorting reality.
Miraak tries to amend the tear
Sanmor fights back, widening it
he then attacks samnor
Sanmor says "Grave error."
"really?"
He opens a tear behind him, falling through and appearing behind Miraak.
"I dont think so"
"Too slow."
Miraak simply vanishes
The star sheds it's star layers.
The centrepiece, Sanmor's Castle, is left floating.
Miraak appears above sanmor, and attacks him from above
Sanmor holds back his sword.
he then suddenly unmerges with his gods, and all of them begin striking at Sanmor
Sanmor says "AGH!"
"FLY, MY ABODE!"
"SEEK RIGHTEOUSNESS!"
The castle begins moving in space
Miraak forms a sword, and stabs sanmor in the abdomen
Sanmor says "Ag...h...."
he then puts his foot out and pulls out the sword
The hollow Nihilantis stands over him, among the gods, watching him die.
he swings it around and decapitates him
Miraak himself collpases
The head of Sanmor stares into Nihilantis' eyes
Vitar walks over to the head
Suddenly, all the memories flood back.
"is it... still alive?"
Nihilantis remembers everything.
Vitar tends to miraak
TERAPRO.. The Cataclysm..
All his wrongs...
With the spirit of Anahita resonating within him.
"Free me." She beckons.
And so, the puppet snapped to life.
Nihilantis says "Not yet."
A tear opens above Miraak, attacking him with void energy.
"Arrrrghhhh"
His stare grows stronger, and so does the energy.
The stare itself grows piercing.
Deep into his evil heart.
"I brought you back to life!"
Miraaks heart stops, and he just stops and dies
His allies just sit there staring
The tear widens.
The evil in his soul resonates.
A huge vortex surrounds the group.
"Let this be the repentance they deserve."
The castle starts falling to Skantos.
His eyes grow black.
He begins levitating, as the spirit of Anahita leaves him.
The castle begins moving faster, on a crash course with Anor Lando.
Anor londa deploys a shield
Vortices of void energy form around the castle.
All the void energy from all those years ago under Antarctica finally materialises.
Nihilantis says "I am the antagonist."
"I tortured people too."
"I knew what it was to be like you."
"We are both no good for this world."
"So let it be."
"The souls suffer no more."
"The flame extinguishes."
The castle enters the atmosphere, and begins burning
Meanwhile, Theta and the rest travel through space, having followed Nihilantis' trail.
The gods all go through agonizing pain as they die
The thunder erupts magnificently around Nihilantis as he manifests their suffering.
"The pain they felt."
"Upon you."
"That is how I felt."
"Again..."
"AND AGAIN...
"AND AGAIN."
He stares on as the castle is about to impact
"And when they hear the sound of the drums..."
"They know my time, as well as yours..."
"Yes..."
"It ends here..."
"Truly..."
"Endgame."
The castle penetrates the shield instantaneously, creating a huge shockwave.
And with gargantuan force, the castle slams into Anor Lando.
It erupts violently with multitudes of void energy.
The plume of destruction stretches beyond the atmosphere.
Tenno says "Oh.... my.... god."
Tenno says "What the-"
The Theian Gods arrive
A smoulder vanishes to nil.
Any evidence of destruction had vanished, vaporised by the shield.
The combined being known as "Theia" lands on Skantos, and instantly disintegrates.
The Nine lay weak.
Theta stares up at Anor Londo, his vision blurry.
The trail can be seen in the sky.
Miraaks ghost rises above his beaten, mangled bloodied body on the landing pad of anor londo
Yet Nihilantis was nowhere to be seen.
Steadily, the Nine begin walking into Anor Londo, towards the "ground zero."
Varuna says "I..."
"The darkness.."
"Overwhelms... me..."
Varuna disintegrates.
The rest remain undeterred.
The caslte is deathly quiet
They enter the castle, growing weaker.
Hecate says "The void..."
"Too... much..."
She disintegrates too.
They hear miraaks voice
"find the crystal. Destroy it!"
Minerva says "The light.... fading..."
And disintegrates.
The group is guided towards the crystal.
"Or these events will be doomed to repeat themselves*
Aireskoi says "My flame... extinguished..."
And disintegrates.
They walk down a dark staircase, feeling the energy.
Triton says "Cold... so cold..."
He too disintegrates.
Walking through corridors, they grow slower and weaker.
Aethra says "Eroded to dust..."
And disintegrates.
They grow heavy in each footstep, dragging themselves towards the voice.
Pilirin says "They never.... came... home..."
He disintegrates.
Miraak is no longer a source of Darkness,. His spirit is full of light however it is quickly fading
Theta stumbles, but he perseveres.
"I find this crystal long ago."
Istaran says "The water... burnt... away..."
He disintegrates.
Only Theta is left.
He reaches the crystal.
"I..."
"Withered..."
"Too long..."
He falls.
Just before he hits the ground, someone catches him from behind.
A light breeze and a flap is heard.
Tenno says "Not so fast."
"Though they are gone, they entrusted their being to you."
"Channel your strength, Theia."
Theta says "Theia?"
Tenno says "yes.""
"You are what lives on of the Theia before."
"The people no longer need you."
Theta says "B..but.. Nihilantis.."
"He led them astray.."
Tenno says "Nihilantis had his own demons."
"Without the divine, there are no demons to oppose them."
"It's time to let go."
Theta begins to glow the colours of the rainbow.
Tenno says "Now close your eyes..."
"And let go."
Theta punches the crystal, shattering it into infinitesimal pieces.
The dust disintegrates, and so does he.
Tenno stands in the empty room.
Her powers fade away, and her wings retract.
"....."
"Sakura..."
"Sakamoto..."
"My name.."
"...."
"Lest I forget..."
"All shall fade away."
Chapter 15 (Epilogue)
The elements upon Theia are no longer.
Gensokyo returns to a lush green colour.
Likewise, other elemental areas cease.
The Eternal Thunder stops.
Lilaciah heals.
One by one, the statues of the Gods crumble.
A ship lands outside the rebuilding TERAPRO.
Tenno, now known by her real name, steps out in front of the blast door.
She clutches a mask in her hand.

Swerving through corridors of piping, she enters through a door marked with a radioactive hazard sign.
the Pocession of Polsk ceases
Polsk, now having access to the great archive, opens it to the public
Polsk Publically apoligizes to the nations of Theia for allowing itself to be pocessed by a god, and will do everything it can to amend its mistakes
Many countries, including Gensokyo and Iujadogia, start promoting diplomatic relations with Polsk to help with the rebuilding.
Sakura enters another door, into another hidden corridor.
Clutching the mask, she goes up to yet another door and knocks 4 times.
She is let in.
A man and a woman sit in front of her.
Aldren says "Please sit down."
Sakura sits down.
Alana says "I gather you have brought the asset?"
She grudgingly places the mask on the table.
Aldren studies it.
He slams his fist on it, with no effect.
Aldren says "Hmmm.."
"It's a genuine."
Alana says "Of course."
"Our lovely young lady here would have no guts to feign such actions."
Aldren says "Thank you madam, your co-operation is appreciated."
"This asset means a lot to the SDS."
"Having been out of their hands for... wow... almost thirty years now."
Andrei walks into the room.
He is immediately drawn to the mask.

He sits next to Sakura.

"And although he may not be around anymore..."

She turns to face the Tremars

Aldren says "Our motives are none of your concern, dear."
Sakura says "Then so be it."
"I shall find out for myself."
Andrei reappears.
She takes his hand, and leaves the room.

They walk towards the hangar, towards a Genian ship
Andrei says "Where?"
Sakura says "The Truth."
Andrei says "What's the Truth?"

"The divine..."
"Elements..."
"Castrovalence..."
"Reanimating the bloody dead..."
They get on the ship, and she immediately sits down and begins flying it out of the hangar
They fly low over the plains of Aquilae, seeing statues of Nihilantis in ruins
Andrei says "Why the Divine?"
"You would know.... wouldn't you?"
Sakura sighs
She lands the ship in front of one of the Nihilantis statues.
They both get off, and stand in front of it.
Sakura says "Andrei."
"This universe is by no means normal."
"Chaos."
"Unpredictability..."
"How the weather changes on a whim.."
"How the winds whip up the seas, churning and twisting..."
"How the rivers flow and the waterfalls crash.."
She wipes dust off of the statue.
"Nihilantis..."
"Three men in one."
Tears start forming in her eyes.
She turns around aggressively.

"WHY DO I EXIST?!"

She falls to her knees in front of the statue.

Sakura kisses her fingers and places it upon the statue.
She wipes away her tears.
Sakura says "Rest in peace, Theia."
"Though you are not here, the answers shall be found."
"May you live on, for all eternity."
The three board the ship.
It starts flying up and out.
"Andrei."
"The divine may be omniscient, yet they know all but themselves."
"Your task ended long ago."
"Yet my cataclysm rages on."
"My struggle for truth."
"Istaran's strive for justice."
"Varuna's enclosing darkness."
"Hecate's all-knowing void."
"Pilirin's flourishing life."
"Minerva's eternity."
"Triton's power of freedom."
"Aireskoi's eternal flame."
"Aeneas' persistence.."
"and my peace."
"Because.. yet I was a goddess of peace.."
"Turmoil followed me wherever I went."
"Where it be in Gensokyo..."
She charges her warp drive.
"Or in my heart."
"I am no longer divine."
"My clock has begun ticking."
