Fall of Asophania
Asophania managed to intercept a number of strange scrambled transmissions encoded in morse code, which when decoded said the following; "Are we still waiting for the arrival of Nihilantis?" "The Third Object?" "Yes." "And you?" "Is it arriving at the same time as the second object?" "I believe so." "Oh boy, aren't we excited!". Asophania didn't know where these originated from, but it could infer that the 'first object' was Theia, and the 'second object' was Doluro, leaving 'Nihilantis' a mystery. Asophaania tried to investigate this threat further, but was interrupted once the YNF which had been hiding out on Theia suddenly showed up in a spacecraft above Asophania, prompting them to scramble to archive everything they could and spread it. The YNF informed Asophania that they were not so different and it should not resist the YNF's return or it would be wiped out. Asophania relented despite the international community encouraging them to fight back, as they were incapable of defeating the much more militarized YNF. Asophania accepted the YNF's offer to surrender in return for its citizens lives being spared, allowing the YNF to assert control over the entirety of antarctica.
Another encrypted transmission arrived after Asophania had fallen, stating "NIHILANTIS CAME EARLIER THAN I HAD HOPED FOR. BESIDES. LET'S DO THIS." The UQSR looked into this and realised that another object beyond Theia and Doluro was indeed headed towards Yata, though it was not a planet, it was a Star. The YNF begrudgingly let the UQSR into the Asolab to investigate, leading them to find a strange document behind a Hybrite Converter. This document was about Castrovalence, revealing that Nihilantis was a 'Castrovaltic Star' on a collision course with Yata after previously being located 12 light-years away. The document asserted that the cause behind the Castrovalence spikes was interactions with this star, which had been ripping apart spacetime and gluing it back together almost as if it was alive. The UQSR freaked out over how Theia and Doluro were even separated, until it turned the page and saw that Asophania theorised that Theia had some-kind of FTL Drive so that it could act as a mobile planet that picked up dying civilizations as planetary life boat, explaining how the Tritons and Iujado were both there and in the outer reaches of the Alpha Sol System during the Iujadogian-Yatan War. Asophania had theorised that Theia had come here suddenly for a reason, and that reason would be to save Humanity from the incoming Nihilantis or it came from Nihilantis to save Humanity. Asophania's writings shifted in tone as it seemed too realise it was going to die, leading to it describing how its exterior veneer of being a nice and friendly country was all a lie as they had actually originated from what was now Tritonia before The Great Sleep and were taken to Antarctica by the immune Iujadogia, where they kept samples of the Scandimaro Sleeping Sickness after the pandemic concluded and engineered it to be far more potent so that one day it may be used to get everyone off of Yata. Asophania had known that Theia, Doluro, and Nihilantis were coming alongside all about Castrovalence, leading to them concluding that people wouldn't simply evacuate without a reason. Testing was in order, so they had released the sickness in Scandimar's water supply, and later into themselves as they knew people would be alarmed over their death. The temporary evacuation of Yata with the Genesis Ship during the Second Nihilist War had proven that it was possible, prompting them to conclude that Humanity was to leave Yata to Theia before it was wiped out, as Yata only had a slim chance of survival. Asophania had not fully figured out what Theia was as of writing, but it was determined it was the way out as the conclusion of the document. The details of the document were published, prompting Yetia to suggest bringing Theia and Yata into a binary orbit so that they may be brought out of the line of fire, which UQSR seemed to agree with once Theia's secret was fully understood.
