The Confederate States of Yorica grew annoyed that much of its claimed industrial heartland was under the administration of the opposing Socialist States of Yorica, so with Sipedroan encouragement it launched a war to conquer the midwest. Texas refused to support this war, but gave Sipedro military access regardless to maintain positive relations, allowing the CSY and Sipedro to march into SSY territory with relative ease at first. As the fighting was going on, Charaland and Creepyland decided to invade so they may gain more area to build in while the two major Yorican factions were distracted, prompting Torium to soon join their efforts alongside certain small neighbouring communities to 'rebel' so they may also become Louisianans. The war would eventually reach a stalemate favouring the SSY, who annexed significant portions of the CSY in return for peace (alongside the Louisianans annexing territory south of the Arkansas River).
