Prelude
The Second Coalition learned that the Second Yetian Empire was indeed preparing for war against them, specifically planning for an invasion of its members in the British Isles, which was exposed to them by Petoria which lead to them being inducted into the alliance. The Second Coalition thus quickly acted to prepare itself, inducting nations such as England and Ireland into the alliance. Yetia began paying off terrorists to set off bombs in Sipedro and Sizzle, which was soon exposed by Petoria prompting both of them to confront Yetia, which Yetia disregarded until they simply claimed they 'deserved it' as they began setting off more bombs, leading to the Second Coalition deciding that war was now inevitable and that they should prepare to launch it. Yetia acted first though, declaring war on England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and Waclaw, prompting most other members of the Second Coalition to promptly declare war on Yetia directly.
Yetian Great Offensive
Yetian forces quickly smashed into the British Isles and Waclaw, occupying them before their allies could come to aid them, making use of their much more progressed preparations to bomb various enemy military installations to slow them down further, making the Coalition panic as they thought they could have a traitor among their ranks. With the British Isles dealt with, Yetia reorganized great britain into a unified National State of England and Wales and a National State of Scotland, with significant portions of each of them remaining under direct occupation alongside Ireland and Waclaw. Lineland figured that Yetia was trying to protect itself from being invaded from the north-west and south-east as had usually happened during previous world wars, which appeared to be correct as Yetia forced Italy into submitting as their puppet and invaded into Choros, freaking out the Coalition as they tried to figure out where would be the most optimal direction of attack. Yetia split Choros between a occupied north and a puppeted 'National State of Choros' in the south and annexed Cyprus, next launching an invasion into Sarpistan which forced its government to flee to Hongerswak as it failed to hold back Yetia's rapid and devastating offensive that led to the country being split between an occupied east and a 'National State of Khat' in the southwest.
In a major surprise for the Coalition, the Kingdom of Tritonia and Republic of Cötes des Corestias suddenly declared their allegiance to Yetia in the conflict due to their mutual trade relationships. The Coalition panicked due to Tritonia's large size, prompting them to induct the nations of Utsong, Yorica, and Nilastan into their faction. Drones from the now-exiled England stationed in Sipedroan New Sizzle soon saw movements in the southern Ural mountains, revealing that Yetia had prepared an invasion into the region from both air and ground, catching the Sipedroans by surprise as they rolled through the region, occupying it with relatively little effort. The Second Coalition promptly met to think of a proper military response, leading to them being convinced that due to the most logical point of attack being the Linelandic Mainland, an attack into the 'northern' area of enemy territory would make the most sense, prompting them to invade the Kalevian National State, where they outnumbered the defending forces despite their courageous defence efforts until enough reinforcements arrived to push them out.
Sizzlean Campaign
Sizzle was contacted by the Yetian government, who demanded military access or else they would invade, which Sizzle refused due to them seeing Yetia's failed (due to mutinies among the dolphins) dolphin weaponization program as stupid making them not respect them, which angered Yetia and prompted them to declare war despite Sizzle continuously attempting to reason its way out of a conflict. Due to Sizzle currently being in a major epidemic of an unknown disease, Yetian soldiers invading the country wore protective suits that proved to be a major weak-spot as Sizzleans broke open these suits and intentionally infected them with the diseases, as well as bombing Yetia itself and its military positions with napalm. Unlike during their previous campaigns, Yetia began to notable struggle as the combined efforts of Sizzle, Lineland, Utsong, and Scottish insurgents proved to be a challenging opponent, even managing to launch an invasion into Yetia City. During this invasion of Yetia City the Sizzlean military found a basement with a button that supposedly called for help, which once pressed began playing the anthem of the Sizzlean-Yetian Empire as the Yetian Sizzleans began to organize under the banner of the New Sizzlean Empire to fight back. Coalition forces faced the Yetian military in the city of Xining, successfully outflanking the Yetians and beating them back to the point of briefly even encircling them at the cost of being forced to fall back in Yetia City. Sizzle unsuccessfully attempted to propose a peace agreement in which it would withdraw its forces from Yetia in return for Yetia doing the same during this crisis before Yetia managed to restabilise its positions by retreating in various regions. Despite its losses Yetia, managed to secure somewhat of a foothold poised to strike both Xining and Beijing, although with massive losses.
The Second Coalition paid close attention to this campaign, as it had been the first area where Yetia was notably losing. Despite Yetia beginning to bomb them with specialized EMP weaponry which knocked out their electrical grids, the Coalition began preparing for a significant counteroffensive thru Sizzle into Tritonia, though something would happen in Europe far before this offensive could be launched as the Irish launched a massive uprising against Yetian occupation, soon to be followed by the Scottish and Welsh. The people in the National State of England-Wales would also consider such a revolt, only for their autonomy and 'statehood' to be revoked, soon to be followed by the dissolution of the puppet-government in Scotland. Exiled armies from all four British nations would quickly begin arriving to push back the Yetians, agitating Yetia to the point of snapping and launching a barrage of nuclear weapons into Ireland, destroying its government and shattering the country into a collection of local clans vying for restabilization. Sizzle would be angered by this, launching a nuke of its own into Yetia and escalating its offensives near Yetia City. Yetia continued its barrages into the British Isles, sending out chemical bombs into the rebel territories, seemingly distracting Yetia enough to allow the Second Coalition to launch a massive counteroffensive in Sizzle, pushing Yetia out of Sizzle proper and soon also New Sizzle as Yetian attempts to nuke the region failed, instead leading to Lineland successfully nuking Yetia.
Tritonian Campaign
After New Sizzle was liberated, Coalition launched a massive offensive into Tritonia, prompting the Tritonian government to launch a massive mobilization and recruitment campaign as they prepared to defend their sovereignty from the invading Coalition. Their haphazardly assembled army which was sufficient to outnumber the mainly Linelandic army opposing them, though the Linelandic forces had significantly better training and equipment largely managed to hold them back and soon break through their lines into the Dnieperland as the front near the city of Ordenlio stalled, leading to the Battle of Saporoshien, soon leading to the fall of Yetian Crimea. While Yetia did initially send support to Tritonia, the situation in Western Europe would eventually worsen to the point of necessitating Yetian forces being redeployed there. Despite Yetia providing the Tritonians with their EMP Weaponry, the Linelandic forces managed to achieve a massive breakthrough that led to a major encirclement in the east and a push all the way to Bralien as the Tritonian Black Sea Coast fell to the Linelandic army, which the Tritonian populace failed to prevent despite extensive conscription and militarization. Fearing the collapse of the south, most Tritonian soldiers in the north rushed southwards to prevent Lineland from pushing into Palladia, leaving the north of the country with just enough to hold off, which while allowing Tritonia to begin pushing back in the south it also allowed Lineland to smash through the northern line and spread out to the point of attacking the city of Mosco, which Tritonia attempted to remedy by calling in reinforcements from Yetian Kalevala. After having successfully encircled and destroyed the Linelandic forces pushing through Bralien, Tritonian forces were sent to Saporishien and the north in order prevent thee rapid Linelandic advancement thru the countryside that had already lead to the encirclement of countless Tritonian soldiers, whom were forced to disband and begin guerilla resistance operations. Kalevala quickly began to fall into turmoil as mutinies and desertions became increasingly common once Linelandic forces crossed into their territory, forcing Tritonia to divert soldiers away from Saporishien and Mosco in order to try to keep order in the region, which only led to increased resistance in Kalevala. Tritonia put its full attention on its southern counteroffensive, smashing through the Linelandic forces in Saporishien at the cost of significant defeats and encirclements on the Mosco front. Despite Tritonian successes in the south, the north appeared to be completely dominated by Lineland after they had smashed into Kalevala with little resistence, allowing them to begin pushing deeper and deeper into northern Tritonia despite their air surperiority.
Seeing its situation becoming increasingly dire, the Tritonian military introduced a second round of conscription involving higher standard training, sending these elite forces against South Dnieperland, Crimea, and the Tritonian-Kalevian border. Kalevala's upheaval proved to become more and more of a liability for the Yetian-Tritonian Pact, leading to the Kalevian National State being dissolved by the Yetian garrison in the region, who promptly incorporated the Baltic into Yetia proper and established military rule in the remnants of Kalevala. Hoping to prevent Lineland from exploiting this chaos to advance in the far north, Tritonia rapidly rushed its army north to cut them off, though the south also required their attention due to it being considerably less concentrated by Linelandic soldiers. This northern rush would end in disaster as Lineland successfully cut off thee Tritonian army, which needed to be evacuated by Corestias or flee into the wilderness, which many did in order to re-enter Tritonia's fringes to continue the fight despite the quickly increasing war-exhaustion and Lineland starting to receive reinforcements. These 'fringe forces' attempted to use their position to smash through the Linelandic advance into Kalevala, which Lineland managed to prevent at the cost of casualties significant enough to force them to dig in, which Tritonia attempted to exploit with a renewed offensive and a naval operation into Crimea until Kalevala suddenly declared its independence from Yetian rule in a massive uprising, which Tritonia failed to put down as the 'Provisional Government of the Kingdom of Kalevala' emerged, later regaining Helsinki from Lineland in return for control over some northern territories.
Seeing Lineland continue its offensive operations in the new 'Saporishien Offensive', Tritonia launched yet another conscription wave which coincided with a series of experimental technological projects to create better artillery and install unusual devices onto towers. These new conscripts and the previously trained elite forces launched operations behind enemy lines, threatening Linelandic supply lines whom were too preoccupied with the Battle of Talinn and Saporishien as they attempted to reconnect in a series of desperate counteroffensives using their guerillas, elites, and paratroopers. Seeing Yetia's minor support as insufficient, Tritonia began its first ever test-run of the Lazer Tower Array, firing beams between Grosno Tower, Tritonia Bank Building, Twist Turve Tower Ruzhetia, and Sky Palladia which managed to knock out both Tritonian and Linelandic electricity and radar, allowing Tritonia to launch a new air campaign and offensive that smashed through the Linelandic lines, allowing the fringe forces and guerillas to reconnect with the main Tritonian army. More lazer-firings began to occur, leading to power being knocked out in Corestias in order to achieve a surplus for the Tritonian military in order to launch 'Operation Liberation' at their fullest strength, which Lineland attempted to counter by pouring in a new wave of soldiers to hold the line against Tritonia's next wave of conscripts. Seeing their current military operations as untenable and leading towards collapse, Tritonia launched one final offensive through the centre which Lineland managed to successfully exploit by punching through Grosno and Bralien in an attempt to encircle the offensive in Tritonian Rus, leading to the final collapse of the Tritonian War Effort as they retreated back to Palladia to hold a last stand that allowed a vast majority of Tritonia to flee through Yetia to Corestias, prompting the Tritonian government to collapse and flee into exile in Corestias, leaving the Yetian-backed remnants in Palladia to reorganize into the Palladia City State, which would soon also fall once King Aldren of Tritonia announced the nation's surrender. Once the Tritonians arrived in Corestias, they agreed upon an unification agreement with the Corestians which led to the establishment of the Octumvirate of Quatritonia, which signed an armistice which recognizeed Linelandic occupation over all of its territories. Much of the Tritonian population and the royal family had gone missing after their capitulation, which they seemingly could not find.
Yetian Campaign
Early Yetian Campaign
With the battle for Tritonia over, disputes between the Kalevian Provisional Government and Lineland were now able to emerge as Kalevala requested the end of occupation on its lands, which Lineland refused due to security concerns. This situation led to largescale anger among the Kalevian populace as the republican 'Kalevian White Guard' launched a revolution against the current monarchist pro-Lineland regime, swiftly overthrowing them as the Kalevian public rallied around the 'Republic of Kalevala' lead by Marshal Mannerheim. Angered by this revolution, Monarchist remnants fled into the Linelandic occupation zone and convinced them that the White Guard had colluded with Yetia, prompting Lineland to declare war and launch attacks against Kalevala around the same time that Yetia kicked Sizzlean forces out of Yetia City and pushed into occupied Palladia thru Vedaburg. Much to Lineland's surprise, Kalevala began fighting back relentlessly to the point of forcing the much more powerful Lineland into a stalemate, making them focus more on the Palladian front. Seeing the east as being largely successful against the Coalition, Yetia turned its attention back west by launching a largescale napalm bombing campaign in Scotland, which Sizzle countered with its own. The remnants of Ireland would begin unifying with one another around this time, with the first bloody conflict to break out being between O'Neill and Belfast, which O'Neill managed to win, forming the Ulster Government, soon forcing its neighbours to unify under it. Tired of Yetian bombing, Scotland launched its counteroffensive against them by reclaiming Dumfries and pushing into northern England, soon being joined by the exiled English military arriving from its Azores territory, quickly overwhelming the Yetians, of which many were forced to try to flee to the still Yetian held Shetlands. As Yetia's position on the British isles quickly fell apart they began a desperate bombing campaign to make the area useless for the enemy, with this move of obvious cowardice and defeat prompting the New Luxurian Empire to ask for control over Abard once Yetia was defeated, angering the Yetians.
With the west now somewhat secured as Great Britain was liberated and the Coalition-aligned Dublin government had begun unifying Ireland, Lineland and Sizzle mustered their forces to begin a counteroffensive in the eastern front, smashing through them and capturing thousands in a number of encirclements. Yetia tried to hold back the offensive by targeting the Sizzlean forces due to their smaller numbers and weaker discipline, yet this would fail and they began to panic as the situation quickly turned from bad to worse as more and more coalition soldiers arrived on the front. Lineland suggested that the British states could launch an invasion of Yetia City or Waclaw, which they accepted. Galway, Mayo, and the other Irish cliques in the Connaught region agreed to unify under Galway, leaving only Munster fractured, but even this would soon end as the Anti-Yetian Cork Clique managed to unify the region. Yetia started becoming increasingly desperate as the Coalition advanced, prompting them to launch a massive bombing campaign on its enemies that it stated would only end once they surrendered, which when unsuccessfully escalated to them unsuccessfully threatening the use of nuclear weapons. Yetia began to attempt a desperate counteroffensive after gathering sufficient resources from its occupation of Sarpistan, prompting Lineland to begin an offensive into the region in order to both liberate it and free it from the increasingly unstable occupation, which Yetia responded to by unsuccessfully attempting to assassinate the region's exiled government, with the assassins being killed by Kamina Pianga of Hongerswak before managing to achieve much more than injuring Abul Pianga. While Lineland saw massive successes in Sarpistan, they faced unexpected defeats in the balkans as Yetians cut off the Linelandic armies in Sarpistan by retaking the Danube.
Attack on the Alicorn Kingdom
With the situation in Europe mixed, Yetia used this opening to deploy a fleet of Imperial Lasercrafts to the south pacific, where they attacked the barrier surrounding the Alicorn Kingdom in an attempt to break in, slowly overwhelming the barrier as hundreds of small ships blasted at it at once. The two rulers of the Alicorn Kingdom, Celestia and Luna, attempted to use their magic to keep the barrier up for longer while they could plan out what to do regarding the attack, with their first act being sending a Pegasus to ask what they are doing, which the ships did not respond to with anything other than firing a blast at the Pegasus, knocking it away. The Unicorn Guards and Star Swirl helped with keeping up the failing shield as more solutions were thought up such as attacking the ships or teleporting the ships away, though suddenly a Parahuman from Heroes Edge called 'Primal' arrived in T-Rex form and blasted through the barrier, where he encountered a Unicorn and turned into a white tiger, killing the Unicorn and taking its form (albeit modified to be larger and deadlier). The continuous blasts of the Yetian ships lead to hole starting to emerge on it, leading to the energy exerted to upkeep the barrier causing Luna to collapse from exhaustion, though the ships would appear to be the least of their worries as Primal charged up Canteerlot Castle's steps as he intended to kill Celestia and Luna, transforming into a Lizard and then a Wyvern as he attacked Star Swirl, who predicted his arrival. Primal began spitting fire everywhere, forcing Star Swirl to protect the Princesses with a shield, which Primal tried to break by becoming a stegosaurus and whacking it with his tail. Star Swirl grew the shield in order to push Primal back, which he responded to by turning into an Ankylosaurus to smash the tail and then into a Cheetah to slash at it. Star Swirl teleported behind Primal and fired a lazer at him, demanding to know why he is here. Primal turned into a Unicorn and charged at them while claiming to be 'their predator', which Star Swirl stopped by throwing a table at him, prompting him to turn into a Praying Mantis which Star Swirl fought with bug spray as Primal rushed towards him. Star Swirl demanded to know why Primal was doing this, which he revealed because of his anomalous ability to become beings he had extracted the dna of it would only make sense that he should claim the nation inhabited by magical ponies. Primal managed to deactivate the shield protecting Luna and Celestia, allowing him to use a Velociraptor form to quickly rush over and bite Celestia in the neck until Luna managed to use her magic to collapse the ceiling on most of him. Seeing Star Swirl use 'the gun spell' to summon guns to shoot at him, Primal transformed into a small creature to wiggle his way out of the rubble and then transform into an Alicorn now that he had sufficient DNA for it, charging out of the building through the roof as the E.U.P went to deal with him as Celestia and Luna went underground to gather the Elements of Harmony.
On the surface Primal went on a rampage in Canterlot, killing Star Swirl in the process, only stopping once he could no longer maintain this form, prompting him to turn into a snake and then a fishin order to go into an underwater cave. Seeing as they couldn't find Primal on the surface, they instead decided to use the Elements of Harmony on the Lasercraft if they were to attack them as they barrier had broken and they were actively flying around above them. Once the ships began to attack, Celestia teleported the ships away though they came back soon afterward, though any attempts to figure out why they were here remained unknown. Hoping to stop the ships from kidnapping ponies who were having difficulties from defending themselves, they attempted to use the Elements of Harmony until the ships grabbed Celestia, forcing Luna to fly up and activate the Elements mid-air, which was successful as the ships fell apart and crashed into the ground, releasing their captives and their human pilots. Celestia tried to question the pilots intentions, yet all they told was that they were acting on the orders of Emperor Chungus and that they couldn't tell her anything, though after threatening to send them to hell they revealed they were sent to capture Unicorns in order to learn how their magic worked so they could use it in the war. Celestia responded by saying all the crew will be returned to Yetia once the remaining ships were cleared out. Angered by Chungus' actions and receiving calls to help in the war, both halves of the Alicorn Kingdom eventually decided to join the war against the Second Yetian Empire (though they only agreed to stun Yetian soldiers), especially once the crew they had captured were killed by a sudden electric shock by their Mental Cube implants, which they exposed to the international community around the same time that they learned of Chungus' intentions by the members of the Second Coalition.
Later Yetian Campaign
Sizzle began to construct trenches on the briefly quite static front lines, which unfortunately became the perfect breeding ground for disease. Lineland suggested making a new supply route thru the Caucasus to counter the Yetian Danube offensive, though this suggestion appeared to become quite pointless once the tides of the war began to tip in the Coalition's favour once the Alicorn Kingdom joined the war. Yetia tried to keep fighting back, yet its failures caused it to retreat to a new defensive line on the central danube and drina out of fears of encirclement. A broken staticky communication kicked online along the Nile directed towards Empire Village in Sizzle and Cyprus, proclaiming the return of the New Sizzlean Empire, a call which the Cypriots heeded as they organized and seized control over their home island, soon unsuccessfully attempting to make Empire Village join in on the reunification. Yetia began utilising more war-androids as well as terroristic spies in its enemies under the influence of the Mental Cubes. Deciding that hunting down Big Chungus was their best bet to victory, the members of the Second Coalition began sending out teams to hunt him down by searching Greenland, Argentina, and Yetia. The team sent to Yetia was from the Alicorn Kingdom that used their magic to avoid detection, using this stealth to search the Founding Building, Sewers, Yaverncost, Swimming Pool, and College, all with no success. The Coalition then thought that maybe they could get Chungus' location by making Sizzle pretend to be the Sizzlean Empire again and convince Chungus to reveal his location to them, which both Sizzle and Empire Village refused.
With their more espionage-oriented solutions ending in failure, the Second Coalition continued their offensive by completing the liberation of Choros and occupation of North Africa, allowing the Coalition to set up extensive supply lines and military bases. Hoping to knock out the northern front, Lineland and Kalevala signed a peace agreement which would see Lineland return all of its occupied lands in return for Kalevala's new Republican government rejoining the Second Coalition, which they accepted. After a long and thus far unsuccessful search for the missing Tritonians, the first of the lost populaace was found emerging from underground, with this individual being revealed to be the Queen-Consort Alana Tremar. She promptly formed the 'Motoretrem Movement' aiming to restore Tremar rule over Tritonia due to the perceived ineptitude of Quatritonia. Yetia once more threatened the use of nukes on Sipedro if they did not surrender, though Sipedro distracted them from firing before Lineland could setup missile interception systems which shot down all but one of them, prompting the Coalition to begin planning their next offensive. The Coalition asked Italy if it was willing to betray its Yetian overlords so they may invade thru its territory, which they accepted as Coalition forces moved in to fight against the Yetians. Despite their successes, progress against Yetia was slow, prompting an unknown nation to offer their assistance, though they would only reveal their identity once the Coalition accepted, revealing themselves to be the New Sizzlean Empire. While initially apprehensive, the Second Coalition begrudgingly accepted their assistance due to their claims of having allied rebel cells within Yetia, which ended up being true as Yetia was greatly destabilized by the 'Imperial Alpine Units' uprisings and the NSE's various paratroopers seizing countless fringe regions and vital fortresses. The NSE's offensives revealed a disturbing fact, that basically everywhere they advanced the cities were nearly completely devoid of civilians, greatly concerning the Coalition. Despite Yetia's use of nuclear weapons against nations such as Kalevala, Yetia continued to have detrimental manpower deficits over time, leading to Yetia beginning to conscript the elderly and minors onto the battlefields, leading to Coalition condemnation. Yetia's defensive efforts became more and more desperate as Coalition marines threatened the Yetian capital of Newtown.
Yetian Defeat
After months of mystery, the recently discovered Alana Tremar revealed what really had happened to the missing Tritonians, revealing that King Aldren Tremar had order his entire family and the high-class Tritonians to flee into the nation's abandoned mines and seal themselves there, where she claimed that 90% of them alongside her own son had starved to death, leaving Aldren in poor health. She warned that if she was not crowned as Queen of Quatritonia then the 7 remaining major officials will return to their regions and lead Quatritonia into a devastating succession war, or in an even worse case scenario Lineland could install a puppet king, imploring the Quatritonian populace to begin excavating to free their lost brethren. Many were found indeed, though Aldren and many others remained missing. Around the same time, Linelandic intelligence discovered a Yetian contingency plan called 'Operation Shadow' which would involve the releasing of a genetically engineered super-plague which was born airborne and waterborne, making the defeat of Yetia most definitely be on a time limit. Fearing what would happen if Yetia survived, Lineland offered more lenient terms to Quatritonia if they defected to the Coalition, which Alana supported and used in order to gain the crown by televising that joining Yetia was Aldren's greedy heartless mistake which they must correct, which concluded in her indeed gaining the throne and ending the occupation of Tritonia.
Now with the powerful Quatritonia against them, Yetia panicked as their defeat now was clearly inevitable, convincing them to divert all funding to holding back the enemy and fulfilling Operation Shadow. Fighting began happening in the very heartland of Yetia as the battles for Newtown and Niederbach began once Yaverncost fell. Quatritonia's airforce and navy moved to block all exits from Yetia alongside England and Lineland, with these victories finally inspiring the disparate factions of Ireland to fully reunify under the Dublin Government. English and Yorican forces began to land on mainland Europe around the same time that Big Chungus' location was exposed, he was in Yetia City. Despite the rapid advances, Operation Shadow was completed despite Quatritonia trying to stop it with their lazer tower array, leading to some of the Shadow Plague being released as nations scrambled to develop a cure and collect samples. Fearing its spread, Quatritonia set up strict quarantine measures and closed its borders, with Alana soon fleeing to Antarctica. With Coalition armies closing in, Chungus fled to western Yetia, though once elite squads headed there to hunt him down he went back inland once General Esuap defected, eventually finding refuge within the Warehouse Building, from which he fled into the Yetian Catacombs. Largescale summary executions began taking place in the final strongholds until the Laser Tower Array knocked out the Yetian military's Mental Cubes. Having been left defenceless, Yetia soon capitulated.
Treaty of Rapa Nui City
After finally defeating the Second Yetian Empire, the leaders of the Second Coalition all met in Rapa Nui City, Islandia to discuss the terms of peace;
