The members of the Adriatic Alliance noticed that over the past months significant military build-up had occurred on their borders with Yetia and Sarpistan, catching them off guard as Yetia, Sarpistan, Khat, and Jeriya declared war on the alliance, with only Hayah coming to their defence for now. Rossiya claimed to have initially been willing to help the Adriatics, but the Adriatic-Rossiyan War had convinced them not to intervene. The Adriatic Alliance was attacked from all sides, but Italy was affected the least which would've given them a chance to launch a major offensive, though it was revealed that Italy was incredibly incompetent. Hayah proved to be the most effective nation opposing the invaders, but the Adriatics tried their best to prepare a defence. Luckily, a weakness was soon found in Yetia as a number of Iberian separatists had grown to prominence, allowing the Adriatics to fund them to the point of breaking free, concluding in the Republic of Hispania launching an uprising against Yetia, giving the members of the Adriatic Alliance some breathing room despite loyalists revolting against the new Hispanian regime. Choros' armies in Italy managed to cut off the Yetian armies in Rome, leading to significant Yetian casualties around the same time that the Loyalists in Hispania fell, allowing Hispania to join the Adriatic Alliance.
After Yetia and Sarpistan managed to connect their lines at Ezon City, a stalemate set in as Vedaburg was forced to slowly expend the rest of its supplies. In order to solve the situation, Italy was tasked with finding help, first asking Ascension Island which failed, so they asked Kauria who claimed to be unable to help due to being on another continent, so they asked Malta who was just generally unwilling to fight the war, so they asked Svealand who finally was a country able to help. Italy then asked the states of the British Isles for help, which England, Wales, and Ireland accepted. Yetia put most of its focus on Hispania, allowing Choros and Hayah to push somewhat. Losing hope in its chances to hold back the enemy, Vedaburg negotiated a treaty with Rossiya where it would return Palladia in return for assistance as to avoid total destruction. To the south, Choros put its focus on invading the city of Yasinehir. Vedaburg was forced to begin withdrawing into Rossiyan-held land as its offensives were being prepared. Sarpistan was being invaded from all sides, so it begged for aid from Wanaoishi, who refused to do anything more than give its government refuge in the case of defeat. Despite Choros' successes against Sarpistan, Yetia began advancing into them from the north, forcing reinforcements to be brought in from other fronts. Having been completely surrounded on all sides, Sarpistan's government trapped in Baghdad were forced to flee into Apothelis' territory as the country fell, infuriating Hayah as it could not find Yasin Pianga. With no one to negotiate with, Hayah imposed incredibly harsh terms onto Sarpistan as a vast majority of its territory was partitioned, angering Yasin enough to come to the negotiating table with Zamir Pianga of Hayah to get better terms, though before this he impregnated an Apothilene prostitute to have a 'successor' (whom later moved to Sarpistan to raise the child). Yasin kept refusing to back down on his demands for lesser terms, leading to Zamir eventually killing his brother out of frustration. Angered by this incident, Wanaoishi (whom was ruled by Moseka Pianga) confronted Hayah over the execution, leading to Hayah begrudgingly allowing Khat and Jeriya to exit the war. Now with no allies, Yetia began seeing significant defeats along its frontlines.
Despite Italy continuing to have issues, the Adriatic Alliance launched a massive offensive against Yetia in the balkans, allowing Italy to regain its footing as well. Yetia launched a devastating bombing campaign in an attempt to stop its enemies, but it seemed to all be pointless as the enemy kept advancing. Seeing no way to win, Yetia decided to offer a peace deal where it would annex Vedaburg's german-speaking regions, the northern half of Italy, and have a protectorate in Venice. Seeking to avoid further bloodshed, the Adriatic Alliance begrudgingly accepted, additionally allowing Rossiya to directly join their alliance.
