After their success in the Fourth Yetian-Tritonian War, South Sarpistan celebrated its victory only for North Sarpistan to claim that it used the conflict to learn the South's tactics as it staged a South Sarpistani attack on Yetia, prompting Yetia to invade the south at the same time that the north went southwards. As Yetia quickly pushed towards the Sinai peninsula, South Sarpistan began preparing to prove the attacks originated from North Sarpistan, which when successful lead to Yetia switching sides and launching an attack on North Sarpistan. Seeing as they couldn't win, North Sarpistan surrendered and was forced to pay massive reparations.
