The Return of The Crystal Empire
"Incomplete" pages describe lore events that are considered wholly canon, yet were never completed when they occurred. This differs with 'Work in Progress' pages, as in those the page itself is in a state of incompletion as opposed to the storyline never having been completed.
Chapter 1
Meanwhile in the snowy biome of Skantos...
Creepy and Zina cutely explore while dying of hypothermia because it's for some reason stupidly cold and stormy in the snowy mountains of Skantos.
Creepy says: "..."
Zina says: "Why did we.. even come here?"
Creepy says: "I-I Thought.. we'd find... an island..."
Zina says: "...Why would there be an island in the mountains?"
Creepy says: "I don't know... Yata is a special pla- I mean Skantos. What's a yata server? rofl rofl."
Zina says: "What. Anyway.. What's that over there?"
Zina points to a strange rock with diamond shaped holes in it.
Creepy says: "Ominous.."
The two get closer to it.
Zina says: "This looks like some sort of old relic."
Creepy says: "Wow we should sell it for big cash!"
Zina says: "But we're already rich."
Creepy says: "Oh yeah."
Zina inspects the rock a little more, and brushes off some of the snow that has piled on top of it.
Suddenly.. after the rock being touched, the diamond shaped holes begin to emit light.
Creepy says: "This could be a cool lamp."
Zina says: "Hmm.."
Creepy says: "..."
"What you thinking about?"
Zina says: "Ehh.. nothing. Let's just go back to searching for some islands. I'm too cold and tired to deal with whatever this is."
Creepy says: "Okay."
As the two begin to leave, Creepy sees a strange red light coming from the snow nearby. She runs to see what it is.
Zina says: "Huh?"
Creepy says: "What's this?"
Zina digs up the snow and picks up a red diamond. It's shape is completely similar to the one the strange rock had.
Zina says: "Oh. I get it now."
"That relic is supposed to be filled with diamonds."
Creepy says: "Oh, good theory!"
"Wait.. do you think something special will happen if we find all the diamonds and put them in the rock?"
Zina says: "Who knows."
Creepy says: "What if it's treasure?"
Zina says: "Yeah, but you can always just make us some treasure."
Creepy says: "Fair."
Zina says: "Anyway.."
Zina goes up to the rock and puts the red diamond in one of the holes.
It goes in perfectly.
A strange noise comes from the rock.
Creepy says: "SKDJKDKSD This is so cool, reminds me of genshin impact with all its puzzles.. Anyway.. This story arc is sponsored by genshin impact!"
"The game is an mmorpg with an open-world map. They just recently implanted the new region known as Inazuma-"
As Creepy starts advertising Genshin Impact, from the corner of her eye, Zina notices a blue light coming from the snow.
She digs up the snow and picks up a blue diamond from it.
Zina says: "Hmm.. If these gems are so close by.. Then we might be able to see what happens when we put them all inside this relic."
Zina puts the blue diamond in one of the rocks holes. The same happens as before. it goes in perfectly, and the noise from before is heard.
Creepy says: "Neat. Wow I haven't said that in forever."
"Okay anyway.. Let's look for the rest of the gems!"
Zina says: "Mhm."
...

...
After some searching.. Zina and Creepy end up finding two more gems. One is pink and the other is yellow.
Creepy says: "Alright, I found a yellow one."
Zina says: "I found a pink one."
"Let's put them in the relic."
They both put in the diamonds at the same time.
The same happens as with the other diamonds.
But suddenly.. the small snow storm that was happening becomes worse than before. It begins to snow more heavily, and the sky turns into a dark gray.
Zina says: "Huh..? It seems to have gotten colder.."
Creepy says: "my hands................ so cold......................"
Zina says: "Maybe we should find some shelter from the snow and warm up?"
Creepy says: "hhhh.. no.. we only need to find two more diamonds anyway.."
"The plot.. needs to progress.."
Zina says: "Considering how heavily it's snowing.. I doubt we'd be able to find the last two."
Creepy says: "...Okay.. true... let me make a house."
Creepy closes her hands and starts to rub them against each other, while muttering random chants.
As Zina waits for her to finish, she sees a very bright blue light coming from the snow, next to the mountain.
She digs up the snow and finds a light blue diamond.
Zina says: "Huh, so now we need one mo--"
The mountain that Zina was next to suddenly breaks open. Zina quickly dodges.
Zina says: "Hm? Why did that happen."
Zina looks closely and realizes that a cave opened up.
A bright pink light is seen coming from the cave.
Zina says: "Hey, Creepy. You don't need to make a house."
"I found a cave."
"And the second to last diamond."
Creepy says: "Wah- oh okay cool."
The two go in the cave.
The cave is filled with tons of gemstones.
Creepy says: "Whahahah!?!?!? This place is so pretty..."
Zina says: "Hmm.."
As they go further down the cave, they find some strange things.
Creepy says: "OwO What's this?"
Zina notices a green light coming from the chest. She opens it and sees the final diamond needed for the rock.
Zina says: "Well, well, well. Looks like we found all the gems."
Creepy says: "Nice! We should go put them in the rock now! Well.. maybe not now.."
"Considering the fact that i can barely use my hands."
"..."
Zina says: "Alright. Let's warm up a little."

Two relax a bit in the cave. Zina decides to inspect the chest again.
Inside of it she sees some paper with things written on it. She picks it up and tries to read what it says.
Zina says: "...Geez."
Creepy says: "Huh?"
Zina says: "I found some.. letters I think. But I can't read anything."
Zina says: "Ah whatever. It probably isn't important."
Creepy says: "Okay.. Anyway, I think I've warmed up now. Let's go put in those last two gems."
The two go back outside, but it seems that the snow storm has gotten even worse than before.
Zina says: "What is up with this place?"
They go up to the rock, and brush off some of the snow that has piled on top of it again.
They put in the last two diamonds...
They hear a Polsk dropship fly over their heads, it is extremely loud, and flying low.
Zina says: "?"
Creepy says: "Eh?"
Smoke can be seen billowing from the cabin and one of the engines.
A loud crash can be heard as it slams into the ground some kilometers away.
Creepy says: "..."
"The gems.. SUMMONED A SHIP!"
Zina says: "I doubt it."
"Whatever that ship was, it seems unrelated to this relic."
Creepy says: "Okay uh, but do we go check out the ship? The rock seems to not be doing anything.."
3 tear drop shaped ships then fly by, they seem to have shot down the Dropship, and they continue to strafe it. A volley of gunfire can be heard from the crash site.
Zina says: "..."
Creepy says: "Actually maybe let's just go back in the cave.."
Zina says: "Hmmm.."
The fighters stave off, and scatter, as if they had just seen something that was a threat to them.
Creepy says: "uhhhh"
A Punja Class Frigate flies in low overhead, spewing lines of rounds at the fighters.
Zina says: "Let's ignore it."
Creepy says: "But i hear weird sounds??"
"I'm scared let's go in the cave."
Zina says: "It's okay. You have me by your side :)"
Lots of BRRRRRRRTs can be heard as the Punja disintegrates the Seraphs.
Creepy says: "Haha I love you zina but seriously let's go in the cave I have a feeling we might get shot or something."
Zina says: "Oh fine."
The ship stops firing, and after a few minutes, it pitches up and puts its thrusters at maximum throttle, heading into orbit. All is quiet now.
Zina says: "..."
Creepy says: "Oh the sounds stopped.."
Zina says: "I wonder what that was.."
"Anyway. It seems putting in those diamonds was completely useless."
Zina kicks the rock.
Creepy says: "Damn.."
Zina kicks the rock again and suddenly a big octagon shaped hole appears at the top of it.
Zina says: "Oh."
Creepy says: "oh"
Zina says: "Well looks like there's one more gem."
Creepy says: "Bruh moment"
Zina says: "I don't see any strange lights from the snow..."
Creepy says: "I wish the last rock could just fall from the sky or something, it's so abnormally cold that I don't want to stand still any longer."
Out of nowhere, an octagon shaped gem falls onto Creepy's head.
Creepy says: "..."
"Less goo, my god powers going at it again."
Chapter 2
Zina says: "Well.. This is interesting."
Meanwhile, in the Alicorn Kingdom...
Celestia says: "Hmm, I haven't checked up on the Tree of Harmony in a while. I should go to it."
Celestia leaves her throne room and starts heading out of her palace.
Celestia says: "Hopefully I haven't been ignoring it for too long.. It's always so hard to keep track of time, especially when you're immortal."
"..."
"Wait, I'm talking to myself again.. whoops!"
"Let me just.. get over there quickly before anybody sees me talking like an insane person.."

In the outskirts of Canterlot, Celestia stands in front of a strange cave.
Celestia says: "Hopefully it won't be mad at me for not visiting so long. Then again, not like it can talk, haha!"
"..."
Celestia enters the cave. The deeper she goes, the more gemstones on the wall she sees.
Celestia says: "Such a lovely cave.. Even though I've been here a thousand times, it's still able to catch my attention."
At the end of the cave is a giant cavern with a crystal tree in it.
Celestia examines the tree a little bit.
Celestia says: "Seems fine for now--"
But suddenly, she notices something at the roots of the tree..
Some black crystals.
Celestia says: ". . . . ."
"No... No..No.."
"What is this..?"
"....."
"The Crystal Empire... It's back.."
"This can't be good, I need to-"
Celestia gets ready to run out of the cave, but she stops.
Celestia says: "No, I can't. I can't leave the tree like this, what if it gets worse?"
"What to do.. What to do... Hmm.."
"..."
"This could make a good friendship lesson for Twilight."
"AHA! I Have an idea!"

In Ponyville..
Twilight says: "Spike, what did you do with my book collection that was in my room??"
"Spike??"
"Ugh. He better not be playing those Video Games with Mordecai again.."
"SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!"
Spike says: "YEAH!?"
Twilight says: "Where are you??"
Spike says: "Uhhhh, In the video game room. I'm playing Smash with Mordecai."
Twilight says: "..."
Twilight enters the "video game room".
Mordecai says: "BOOYAH."
Spike says: "Aww man. I lost.."
Twilight says: "You two need to stop playing these.. human games all the time."
"I'm starting to think you two are addicted to them."
Spike says: "C'mon Twilight, we're not addicted. You're just a noob and normie who doesn't get our gaming skills."
Twilight says: "what"
Mordecai says: "He's growing up so fast..."
Twilight says: "Ugh.."
Spike says: "Anyway what did you wanna ask?"
Twilight says: "Well I wanted to ask about my old book collection that was in my room. It's not there anymore, did you put it somewhere?"
Spike says: "Uhh.."
"uh..."
"Wait--"
Spike barfs out a letter.
Twilight says: "Oh? Is that from Princess Celestia!"
Twilight picks up the letter with her magic and starts to read it.
Twilight says: "!!!"
"This isn't good, I need to go."
Mordecai says: "What did the letter--"
Twilight runs out of the room.
Mordecai says: "say.."
"Well whatever. Anyway, I'm going to be Sans this round."
Spike says: "Okay"

Chapter 3
In the Canterlot palace, the main six all run into the throne room.
Twilight says: "Where's Celestia???"
Pinkie Pie says: "Maybe she's being an #EPIC GAMER too."
Twilight says: "Pinkie now is really not the time."
Pinkie Pie says: "Oh Twilight.. You're such a noob XD"
Twilight says: "Why does everybody keep calling me that??"
Apple Jack says: "Wait a second, who's that over there?"
Apple Jack points at a Pink Alicorn with a crown, and a white Unicorn with armor and blue hair.
Twilight says: "......"
"Shining Armor and Cadance!?"
Shining Armor says: "Twily! You made it."
Twilight says: "Wait-- Why are you two here??"
AppleJack says: "Uhh, Twilight..? Who are these ponies?"
RainbowDash says: "Yeahhh.. Wait is that another Alicorn!? I thought only Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were alicorns.."
Twilight says: "Oh, Shining Armor is my B.B.B.F.F!"
Rarity says: "..."
"Sorry?"
The rest of the main six look weirdly at Twilight.
Twilight says: "..."
"He's my brother."
The rest of the main six say: "ohhhhh."
Twilight points to the pink pony. Twilight says: "And that's my sister-in-law, Cadance."
Cadance says: "Twilight- You know me and Shining Armor aren't married yet.."
Twilight says: "Haha.. Anyway, let's get on topic."
"Celestia sent us a letter saying something bad has happened and that we needed to come to Canterlot."
"Do you know where she is?"
Cadance says: "Unfortunately Celestia is very busy, so she told me to come here and explain the situation instead."
The Main Six say: "..?"
Cadance says: "Thousands of years ago, there was a nation by the name of The Crystal Empire. It was a peaceful country located in the snowy parts of our planet. They never made much contact with us, until a stallion by the name of Sombra took over the harmonious nation. He declared himself as the Emperor of the country, after killing the last Empress. Sombra began enacting many unpopular policies in the Crystal Empire, such as enslaving thousands of citizens and forcing them to become soldiers for the empire."
"It turned out that Sombra actually wanted to take over the world. Celestia and Luna tried to negotiate with him to stop his foolish plan, but it did not work. It made him angry, and he declared war on the Alicorn Kingdom."
"The battle went on for years, until the two sisters used the elements of Harmony to seal the Crystal Empire away from the planet and above."
Cadance says: "And now recently.. it seems the seal that was put on the Crystal Empire has been broken, and the empire has now returned."
Main Six says: "..."
Cadance says: "There's still lots of things I need to explain, but.. We don't have much time."
Rainbow Dash says: "Wait, you said the empire was sealed off from the.. planet?"
"What does that mean?? Is it like.. on the moon?"
Cadance says: "No. It was sent to a completely different planet outside of the solar system."
Apple Jack says: ".."
"Then why are y'all so worried about it being back? I doubt the empire will ever reach us if it's THAT far away."
Cadance says: "It has already has reached us."
Main Six says: "WHAT"
Cadance says: "Right now we don't have much time. Since Celestia is busy, I'll be giving the orders."
Rarity says: "Wait, Miss Cadance. What about Princess Luna? Where is she?"
Cadance says: "I have no clue."
"Okay but what I need you all to do is quickly go to PonyVille and grab all your essentials, like warm clothes, food and water. The area that the Crystal Empire is in is extremely cold, and there will probably be no food."
Cadance says: "Let's meet up back here."
Twilight says: "Alright."
Twilight teleports the main six and herself back to PonyVille.
Twilight says: "Be quick! Once you're finished, come to the Library."
The rest of the main six nod.
Twilight runs into the Library/AKA Her house.
She begins rummaging through her house to see what she should bring.
Spike says: "Twilight you're back!"
Twilight says: "Spike, I need you to pack your bags. We're going to the Crystal Empire."
Spike says: "the.. crystal what now?"
Twilight says: "JUST DO IT."
Spike says: "Geez! Okay.."
Spike runs off.
Mordecai says: "You seem stressed, what's the matter?"
Twilight says: "I don't have time to explain.. Anyway have you seen my scarf?"
Mordecai says: "No sorry?"
Twilight throws books around the library. One almost hits Mordecai.
Mordecai says: "Dude- You almost hit me with one of those."
Twilight says: "Sorry!"
Mordecai says: "Anyway.. It's kind of weird seeing you, the perfectionist and pro organizer making a mess."
Twilight says: "..."
Mordecai notices a pink and white scarf on the ground. He picks it up.
Mordecai says: "I found your scarf."
Twilight snatches it out of his hand(wing?) and shoves it into her saddlebag.
Mordecai says: "You need any help?"
Twilight says: "No.. I have everything I need now."
Twilight puts on the Saddlebag and almost runs out of the door.
Twilight says: "SPIKE!"
Spike says: "I'M COMING, I'M COMING!"
Spike runs down the stairs and almost trips.
Twilight says: "GOOD."
The two head out the door, and are met with the rest of the main six.
Twilight says: "You girls ready?"
Pinkie Pie says: "YEP! I brought LOTS of candy and cupcakes.. I brought tons of different flavored sodas, annnnndddd I brought my Nintendo Switch!"
"Which i CANT PLAY BECAUSE I DONT HAVE FINGERS!"
Spike says: "I have fingers!"
Pinkie Pie says: "I know, that's why i brought it."
"I knew you'd come."
Spike says: "Yayy!"
Rainbow Dash says: "I bet 10 bits that Apple Jack brought apples."
Apple Jack says: "..."
Pinkie Pie says: "I bet 20 bits she brought an Apple Pie."
Twilight says: "Now's not the time to joke around. Huddle up eveybody, I'm going to teleport us."
The main six + spike all get closer to one another. Twilight teleports them back to Celestia's throne room.
Twilight says: "We're here.."
Cadance says: "Good."
"Since my magic is not as good as Celestia or Lunas, I'm going to need all the unicorns help here to teleport."
Rarity says: "Oh my.."
Shining Armor says: "Got it."
Rainbow Dash says: "Or we could just like, go get Luna?"
Apple Jack says: "Do ya ever listen? Cadance doesn't know' where she is!"
Rainbow Dash gives Apple Jack a death glare.
Cadanace says: "Now, now.."
"Let's begin the telportation."

The teleportation works. The group of ponies have arrived in the snowy and stormy mountains of Skantos.
It's abnormally cold. The Main six all take out their winter clothes and put them on, but even so, they all still feel like they're freezing.
Rarity says: "brrr... g-g-g-good thing I-i-i-i... brought all th-theses scarves!"
Apple Jack says: "I-I-I-I-I'd be makin' fun of ya.. if-if it wasn't so.. c-c-cold.."
Rainbow Dash says: "S-So is this the.. e-empire?"
Cadance says: "According to Celestia, the empire had many beautiful buildings made out of crystals, and a giant palace in the center of all of it.."
Shining Amor says: "I'll scout around and see if I can find anything.."
Cadance says: "Stay safe.."
Twilight says: "W-Wait a second... Where's spike!?"
They all look around.
They hear muffling coming from the snow.
Spike pops out from it.
Spike says: "T-This snow is so thick I'm going to get lost in it!"
Twilight uses her magic to put Spike on her back.
Spike says: "I-If I knew w-we'd be going here.. I would've brought m-my gloves.."
Twilight says: "Wait, what did y-you bring?"
Spike says: "Oh! I brought my xbox :smiley:."
Twilight says: ".................................................................................................."
"You are addicte-"
Spike says: "I'M NOT!"
From the distance, Shining Armors scream is heard.
Apple Jack says: "What the hay?"
Cadance says: "That's Shining Armor!"
The all run to where the shouting was heard.
They find Shining Armor running towards them, as strange black smoke follows him from behind.
Shining Armor says: "RUN!"
Rainbow Dash says: "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT!?"
They all start running from the black smoke.
Shining Armor says: "Tsk.. It's starting to get closer.. DON'T STOP RUNNING, I'LL HANDLE IT!"
Twlight says: "WAIT--"
But...
The spell rapidly turns into black crystals, and hits Shining's unicorn horn.
He drops to the ground and small black crystals grow from his horn.
Twilight says: "SHINING!"
Cadance says: "SHINING!"
Twilight runs straight to Shining to confront the black smoke.
Twilight says: "DON'T YOU DARE HURT MY BIG BROTHER!"
Cadance says: "TWILIGHT DON'T-"
Twilight shoots a spell at the black cloud as well.. but.. the same thing happens to her as well.
Twilight says: "AGH-"
Spike says: "T-Twilight!?"
Rainbow Dash says: "Shoot.. What the heck is up with that thing??"
Fluttershy says: "I-I'm scared.."
Pinkie Pie says: "Woah, I didn't even know you were here Fluttershy!"
Fluttershy says: "...."
Pinkie Pie says: "Sorry"
Cadance says: "YOU ALL CONTINUE RUNNING, I'M GOING TO RESCUE THEM."
Apple Jack says: "I'm sorry Princess Cadance, I know you're an Alicorn an' all, but.."
Rainbow Dash says: "There's no way in heck we're going to leave our friends behind! geez that sounds like something Twilight would say.."
Pinkie Pie says: "yeah!! there's strength in numbers ."
Cadance says: "Alright.. LET'S RESCUE THEM!"
They all turn around and run towards Twilight and Shining Armor.
Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack help Shining Armor up, while Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy help up Twilight.
Cadance summons a blue shield that covers them all.
They all run away from the smoke, which has begun to cover the shield.
Rarity says: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
Apple Jack says: "WHAT'S WRONG!?"
Rarity says: "I LOST MY LIMITED EDITION MOT DE FANTAISIE SCARF I GOT FROM A FAMOUS FASHION DESIGNER IN CANTERLOT!"
Apple Jack says: "Oh.. Phew, I thought something bad happened to you."
Rarity says: "BUT THIS IS BAD!"
They keep running and running, and in the distance they see a tall structure...
Rainbow Dash says: "What's that over there???"
Cadanace says: "I think..."
They get closer.
Cadance says: "It's the Crystal Empire.."
Chapter 4
Meanwhile in the outskirts of the Crystal Empire.. The group of ponies run for the city.
Cadance says: "Don't look back! Keep running."
They run into the city, which seems to be deserted. Fortunately it seems the black smoke has yet to take over it.
In the distance the group see a tall crystal castle.
Cadance says: "Head for the castle!"
Out in the distance, they see a fleet of Dovan Battlecruiser congregated around something in the Montains
There is a bad storm currently ongoing so they barely notice.
They run into the castle and close the doors behind them.
Cadance says: "..Phew.."
"How are Twilight and Shining Armor?"
Apple Jack says: "They seem'ta be breathin'."
Cadance says: "Sigh.. I knew the Crystal Empire would be dangerous.. just.. not this bad."
Rarity says: "What's our plan now, Miss Cadance?"
Cadance says: "Let me think.."
"There's something I didn't tell you all."
The others look at Cadance intently.
Cadanace says: "Sombra wasn't killed in the war. He was sealed away with the Empire."
Rainbow Dash says: "WAIT. So you're saying he's still alive??"
"Wait so what if he's in this castle right now??"
Cadance says: "Don't fret. From what Celestia has told me, he has probably not awoken just yet."
Rarity says: "How do you know?"
Suddenly, they can see out a window that a large spire like structure is rising from the mountains, almost dwarfing them. The storm clears around the anomaly.
Pinkie Pie says: "IS THAT SOMBRA!?!?" Pinkie points out the window.
Cadance says: "???"
the Spire seems to rise from the mountains.
Cadance says: "Uh..."
A large shockwave from the ships engines Turing on forms, pushing the clouds.
A few moments later they feel the jolt of the shockwave.
Cadanace says: "That.. I'm not even sure.."
The ship blasts into space, with the other cruisers pitching up to follow.
A bright blue beam of light shines where the ship just took off from.
Pinkie Pie says: "That's kind of wacky and uncharacteristic."
Cadance says: "..."
The light slowly fades.
"Celestia told me Sombra was a great sorcerer.. but.. Could he really be able to do all of this?"
Cadance shakes her head.
Cadance says: "No no.. if it was Sombra then the city would've been affected by now."
Rainbow Dash says: "What do you mean by that?"
One of the Battlecruisers fly in low above the city, straight down from orbit.
Chapter 5
The cruiser flies over the city.
Cadance becomes quiet and looks at the cruiser.
Fluttershy says: "I'm scared.."
Rainbow Dash says: "Twilight and Shining need to wake up quick before something happens."
Rarity says: "Oh right.. We can't teleport away from here without their help.."
Cadance says: "..."
Drop pods begin launching off the cruiser.
Pinkie Pie says: "King Sombra is wildin'"
Cadance says: "What is happening..?"
Crashing can be heard as the drop pods land throughout the city.
Rainbow Dash says: "Uhhhh..."
"So what the heck do we do???"
Cadance says: "I'm so sorry, but I have no clue. Celestia didn't tell me anything about.. this.."
"This couldn't possibly be Sombra.. right..?"
Pinkie Pie says: "Maybe we should go outside and see what those thingies are that dropped from the.. flying thing?"
Cadance says: "That sounds dangerous. For now we stay in the castle."
"I'll use my magic to block off all the entrances into the castle."
Apple Jack says: "Ey, whadda'bout us?"
Cadance says: "You all look for any valuable information in the castle we could use."
They hear gunfire.
Cadances horn glows a bright magenta and a lazer comes from it hitting the castle. The castle glows a bright purple for a few seconds, and seals off all possible entrances into it.
Pinkie Pie says: "Hey, I hear gunshots! like from my games dream gave me."
Cadance says: "..Who?"
"Also what do you mean by gunshots?"
The Ship fires its cannons at the castle.
The castle doesn't get damaged, It's quite sturdy. But the group of ponies can feel the hit rumble through out the castle.
Pinkie Pie says: "wOOAOAOOAOAOAH"
They hear screaming from outside.
Rarity says: "What in the world is happening out there??"
Cadance looks outside from one of the windows.
They see Dovan Marines slaughtering Ponies.
They see Dovan Marines in giant power armour suits, and large rifles shooting at Ponies, as well as Sangheili Aliens, which have seemed to pop in out of nowhere.
Cadance looks with horror.
Candace says: "..."
The salvo from the cruiser sounds like deafening drums.
Rainbow Dash says: "Right what in the HECK is happening out there?"
Cadance blocks the window with her wings.
Cadance says: "Nothing.. Nothing is happening."
Apple Jack says: "Like hay nothing is happenin'! Do ya' hear that noise??"
They hear quiet footsteps from inside the castle.
Something is in the room with them but they can't see it.
Fluttershy says: "Um... do you all hear that..?"
Pinkie Pie says: "The terror outside? Yeah!!!"
Fluttershy says: "No.. inside.. this room."
Cadance says: "What?"
Fluttershy says: "O-Oh.. I just thought I heard.. footsteps.. I may be wrong.."
Cadance says: "...."
When the room goes quiet, Fluttershy can hear breathing, when she turns to look she sees a visible disturbance with the light next to her.
Fluttershy says: "EEK!"
The thing decloaks.
"WAAAAAA!"
Fluttershy screams.
Rainbow Dash says: "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT???"
Cadance says: "FLUTTERSHY, GET AWAY FROM IT!"
It activates its energy sword.
'The Thing' says "WORT WORT WORT!"
"GIZDABPZO LIT'L!"
He swings at Fluttershy.
Fluttershy flies into the air.
"RAAAAA!"
The alien seems angered by this, and just pulls out its sidearm and shoots her.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
"DIZ GOU DIV DA CHA!"
Fluttershys wing gets shot. As she starts to fall Rainbow Dash quickly swoops in to save her.
Fluttershy starts to cry. She is in shock from the pain and can barely say anything.
Apple Jack says: "Aw heck nah!"
Apple Jack pulls out a lasso from her saddle and throws it at the alien.
Pinkie Pie says: "WE WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS!"
Pinkie Pie starts throwing cupcakes at the alien.
The cupcakes bounce off, and everyone now can see he has a portable energy shield.
The lasso also bounces off, singed slightly.
Pinkie Pie says: "WHAT HTE HECK! HAXS :rage: :rage: REPORTING YOU TO THE MODS."
Apple Jack says: "Uhh, princess Cadance I'd appreciate it if you HELPED US OUT????"
He charges pinkie pie.
He stabs her.
He turns around and punches Apple Jack with a swing so hard it throws her across the room.
Cadance says: "PINKIE, APPLEJACK!"
Rarity shoots a blue lazer from her horn at the alien.
His shields flare up.
"AH!"
He charges Rarity.
Cadance swoops in front of Rarity and summons a purple shield.
He swipes it with his sword and it breaks.
Rainbow Dash with her speed puts down Fluttershy and tries to tackle the alien with her full strength.
Rainbow Dash says: "DON'T YOU HURT THE PRINCESS!"
He opens his mouth and growls at her, revealing his mouth tendrils and all his teeth.
Rainbow Dash says: "WHAT THE HECK-"
He punches rainbow dash.
Rainbow Dash says: "AGH.. I WON'T GIVE UP.."
Rainbow Dash goes in for another tackle.
His shields break with a loud crash.
"AHHH"
Rarity says: "Eh!?"
He slips out from Rainbow Dash and reactivates his cloak, backing into the shadows.
The Alien says "We shall meet again, demons."
Cadance says: "...."
Rainbow Dash says: "...Wha.."
"HEY! DON'T DISSAPEAR LIKE THAT! COWARD."
Cadance says: "Rainbow Dash, No."
"We need to help the others quickly, before they come back."
The Battlecruiser outside stops firing.
Cadance says: "Rarity, help me move all injured ponies here.."
Rarity nods.
They move Apple Jack, Pinkie and Fluttershy next to Twilight and Shining Armor.
Cadance says: "This isn't good.. We can't do this with only three of us.."
"Twilight and Shining need to wake up soon.."
Rainbow Dash says: "What do we do with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie?? They need serious medical attention and none of us here are doctors!"
Cadance says: "I might not have any good healing spells, but I know a spell that can make their pain less extreme."
Cadance uses the spell on the three of them.
Rarity says: "I can use some of my scarfs to cover their wounds so they don't bleed out.."
Rarity pulls out a few of her scarfs and puts it over the other ponies wounds.
The Battlecruiser fires its Yamato cannon at the castle, which violently shakes, as a loud energy burst can be heard from the cannon firing.
Cadance says: "Ah.."
Rarity says: "...."
"W-What do we do..?"
"Miss Cadance.."
Cadance says: "Before we came here.. Princess Celestia told me about her sorrows and regrets. She explained how she always regretted sealing the Crystal Empire away with king Sombra. Celestia said that if there was a way we could save the Crystal Empire while defeating Sombra.. Then she'd be happy.. But it seems we just won't be able to do that.. Our only choice now is to seal the entire empire once more."
Out the window, they see a Massive, 30 kilometer long CAL-Class Super Carrier decloaks above the Battlecruiser.
"I'm not sure-"
Rarity says: "What is that??"
Cadance says: "Huh?"
Rainbow Dash says: "Oh great. Like we need ANOTHER WEIRD OBJECT IN THE SKY!"
The supercarrier fires a laser beam from the center of the ship, straight down onto the first Battlecruiser, it goes straight through, and hits the ground.
The beam stops, and the now smoking Battlecruiser begins lurching towards the ground as its power fails.
Rainbow Dash says: "....."
"S.. w"
"???????????????????????????????????"
Rarity says: "Is.. King Sombra attacking himself..? No.. are these things even King Sombra doing..? What is happening.."
The two other ships begin firing everything they got, including their Yamato cannons, which seem to damage the carrier considerably.
A nearby radio begins booming.
Radio Voice says "Mayday mayday mayday! We have sustained Heavy damage! This is Admiral Krezensky of the IDSS Imperator, to anyone, anyone in comms range. We need assistance, Covenant forces have just ambushed us by Skantos"
The radio goes static.
His voice can barely be heard.
Cadance says: "..."
Radio Voice says "Anyone on All subspace channels."
Radio Voice says "I rep-static we---- ambushed by Covenant forces on a raid of a Covanent city on Skantos"
The flaming Battlecruiser continues lumbering for the ground.
Radio Voice says "Shit... We- static- bee- More static Attacked!"
Radio Voice says "We are about to hit the ground!"
Radio Voice says "We-"
The radio goes full static, as they can see the flaming Battlecruiser slam into the ground a around 10 kilometers away.
The radio comes on again.
Radio Voice says "This is Dog company of 101st shock troopers, to IDSS Spirit of Fire, we are under we are under heavy fire here!"
Cadance says: "..."
Radio Voice says "Dog Company to all 6th fleet ground forces! We are regrouping at the castle! We are setting up a last line of defense there!"
Radio Voice says "Do not fire on the ponies! Intel was off, this isn't a Covanent city! Do not fire on the ponies!"
Cadance says: "I think our questions have been answered."
Rainbow Dash and Rarity say: "?"
Cadance says: "This definitely isn't King Sombra."
Rainbow Dash says: "Okay, so like.. who are they then?"
Rarity says: "Weren't they a company of dogs? I wasn't quite sure what they were.. talking about in all honesty.."
They see the Marines in the combat suits outside the window, they definitely do not look like dogs.
Rainbow Dash says: "Uhhh, those things don't look like dogs to me."
Rarity says: "Oh Pfft. I'm just trying to help."
Tanks begin driving down the street, they enter siege mode and men begin building sandbag fortifications in between the tanks, they begin setting up positions in the buildings surrounding the castle.
Cadance says: "Right.. I don't think we should be standing here doing nothing. It looks like something big is going to happen."
"Since this is none of our business, let's go back to focusing on King Sombra instead."
They hear men outside of the door.
They begin knocking.
Rarity says: "..."
Rainbow Dash says: "Iamthisclosetosayingaswearword"
Voice says "Let us in!"
Voice says "We got wounded out here!"
Rarity says: "What do we do Miss Cadance?"
"What if they're like that.. Creature from before..?"
Rainbow Dash says: "I dunno, weren't those uh.. Guys before talking about not attacking ponies or something?"
Cadance says: "There's only three of us.. Sigh.."
Twilight opens her eyes. She begins to slowly wake up.
Twilight says: "Wh... What's happening.."
Cadance says: "Twilight!"
Twilight says: "Cadance... Where am I-"
Twilight notices her injured friends.
She quickly gets up from the ground.
Twilight says: "What happened??"
The knocking turns into pounding.
Voice says "We got wounded here!"
Twilight says "Wha-"
Voice(2) says "Larry, I dont think there anyone inside, let's just break in."
Voice "Sounds good"
Twilight says: "???"
Their voices are muffled behind the door.
Twilght says: "Who's at the door?"
Cadance says: "I'd rather not know."
Twilight says: "What?? They said they were wounded!"
"We need to let them in!"
Cadance says: "Twilight.. WE are also wounded. We can't do that."
Twilight says: "But.. That's not what friendship is about!"
Gunfire and plasma weapons fire erupts again.
Voice says "SHIT! AMBUSH!"
Cadance says: "..."
"Twilight says: "CADANCE OPEN THE DOOR!"
Cadance says: "FINE!"
Cadance opens the door.
Around 20 men walk in, many of them with white suits with red crosses on them, carrying stretchers with badly injured men, more and more file into the foyer.
Cadance says: "..."
Twilight says: "Hello- Who are you all? Are you.. uh... people.. okay?"
The alien with the energy sword is back, and the distorted light of where it is can be seen. His energy sword activates, and he stabs one of the men carrying a Stretcher, decloaking.
Soldier says "SHIT!!
One of the men fire their rifle at the elite, whose shield is now recharged.
One of them lands a string of headshots, and his shield collapses, and his head explodes.
Cadance says: ".............."
Twilight says: "....ah.....what..?"
The ponies are in shock.
One of the Marines, who looks distinguished looks at Ponies.
Cadance says: "....Hello...?"
Powoznik says "I'm Major Powoznik."
The visor retracts back into the helmet, revealing his face.
He is a human.
Cadance says: "Ah.. Nice to meet you.. Major Powoznik. I'm Princess Cadance."
Powoznik says "Thanks for letting us in."
Cadance says: "No problem.."
Twilight says: "Wait are you citizens of the Crystal Empire? Honestly I thought you would be.. ponies.. not humans.."
Powoznik says "We are from Yata.."
Powoznik says "But Dovan is based on Theia."
Powoznik says "We were told this city was built by the Covenant, and was their forward operations base for attacks in the Sol system."
Twilight says: "..."
Powoznik says "We are part of the Dovan Imperial Navy"
Rarity says: "Phew.. At least we know who they are now."
He points out the window.
Powoznik says "And that is the Biggest Covenant warship in the sector."
Twilight looks out the window in confusion.
Twilight says: "WHAT THE HAY?"
"What did i miss while I was unconscious??"
Rainbow Dash says: "A lot."
Powoznik says "The Covenant is an alliance religious fanatical aliens, who are embarking on their great journey, we don't know why that is, but they nearly destroyed Theia and Yata, as well as Mars."
He calls up some medics, she helped the injured ponies.
He points at the headless elite who attacked the group earlier.
Powoznik says "He's one of them."
Cadance says: "...Huh.."
Twilight says: "Wow.. This is all so overwhelming.."
"Also, we are surrounded and our aircover is a Little preoccupied so we are currently trapped here."
"We've got around 2000 to 3000 men left, to the Covenants 500,000."
Twilight says: "Oh.."
"Is there any way we could help?"
Powoznik says "Is this castle armed with anything?"
"I know it can take a beating, which is why I'm putting my battalion headquarters here and our field hospital here as well."
"I hope that's alright."
Cadance says: "It's okay.. And also we're not sure if this castle is armed with anything. We don't own it and we only arrived here a few hours back."
Powoznik says "I see."
Twilight says: "Castle.. Wait.. What about Sombra??"
Cadance says: "We haven't seen him yet."
Powoznik says Who's Sombra?"
Cadance says: "It's a long story so I'll try to make it short.. Sombra was an evil emperor that was sealed away with the Crystal Empire long ago. But now that the seal has been broken, we are worried he has come back. So we were sent here to defeat Sombra. But so far we have yet to see him."
Powoznik says "I see."
"Is he in this castle?"
A man walks in.
Man says "Sir, Covenant forces are hitting our southern flank with artillery, we are expecting an attack there soon."
Powoznik says "Copy that, Tell the men there to hold firm."
Twilight says: "That doesn't sound too good.."
Powoznik says "It isn't."
Powoznik says "I can pull some of my men of the line and clear this castle."
Cadance says: "Ah, you don't need to do that. It's our mission to find Sombra, so leave it to us."
"Alright."
He looks over at the medic.
The medic points to pinkie pie and says "This one needs a full medical bay, but I stabilized them."
He gestures towards Applejack.
"This one will be fine, just a minor concussion, nothing I couldn't take care of. Same with this one" He gestures to Fluttershy.
