After conflict broke out between North Sarpistan and South Sarpistan during the 26th Yetian Civil War, which coincided with significant tensions between Yetia and Tritonia. Making use of this, South Sarpistan offered to assist Tritonia in its crisis in return for aid against North Sarpistan despite the North's threats of devastating military action against Tritonia. Local Armenian insurgents also joined the fight as the Republic of Hayas declared its allegiance to Tritonia and the South. Yetia began becoming increasingly agitated by the situation, leading to them easily being convinced to join the north's side in the conflict, prompting Tritonia to call Aparty and Morduria into the war. Morduria launched a massive espionage campaign in Yetia, finding out that Wilhelm Yetevia-Anssen was very mentally ill and that he had an actually competent nephew. Tritonia seemed to get an idea from this and 'convinced' Vedaburg to join the war so it could send its army thru in secret. North Sarpistan began pushing west as the Doggerland Laser Array began to activate, firing out a pulse of scrambling radiowaves which impeded coommunications. North Sarpistan began pushing to the region of Khat in an attempt to escape the enemies converging on all sides. Charles Yetevia-Anssen, Wilhelm's nephew, officially aligned with the Rus Alliance and seized control over Yetian Ortilia. Safir Pianga and several other leading figures of North Sarpistan fled down the Nile to Hongerswak to avoid capture as Northern armies rapidly collapsed. With North Sarpistan destroyed and Tritonia/Charlesists pushing into its territory, Yetia capitulated as Charles was recognized as the true king of Yetia.
