Despite gaining territory during the Adriatic-Yetian War, Yetia's people are disappointed as despite initially winning quite decisively they were only able to gain minor gains compared to their goals, leading to various right-wing groups declaring the socialist government unworthy and attempting to overthrow it in a coup, which failed, leading to largescale riots which escalated into a full scale revolt as Yetian SWR soldiers fired onto crowds. Seeing the conflict as a possible opportunity to reclaim their lost lands, the Adriatic Alliance began preparing for war. Much of Yetia's military defected to the insurgents, convincing the core 3 members of the Adriatic Alliance to intervene as the chaos spread. Ortilia soon also fell into chaos as the North Corestian Revolt of 179 CE rose up, leading to the Yetian government frantically fleeing into Saharia to avoid capture. As revenge against the Adriatics was the reason behind their revolt, the new Third Yetian State which rose to power after the YSWR's fall demanded that the 3 interveners withdraw at once or face military action, which was refused, prompting the State to launch a massive offensive which eventually forced the Adriatic Alliance to back down. After the war, the Adriatic Alliance began preparing for a seemingly inevitable second Adriatic-Yetian War, closely aligning themselves with the ACDL to achieve this.
