Svalbard Investigation
A number of strange encrypted communications suddenly flooded most communications channels, making Sipedro curious enough to investigate by tracing the signals, gradually enhancing them until they figured out they were originating from the island of Svalbard. Sipedro thus sent a boat to investigate, only for the boat to seemingly vanish without a trace. Sipedro tried to enhance the signal further, finding an encoded image containing the flag of the Second Yetian Empire. Sipedro asked if Yetia was trying to make an empire again, which they denied, questioning if this was to do with their (and Kalevala's) issue with 'fishing boats sinking' in the barents sea. Deciding to investigate further, Sipedro sent a plane over Svalbard in order to investigate it, noticing a ruined ship and the ruins of the long-abandoned Svalbard POW Camp. In an attempt to take a closer look, one of the people on the plane jumped down with a parachute, noting that the area did indeed seem abandoned yet weird sounds were emanating from the end of a path. The parachuter noticed a satellite dish on a hill sending signals out before he succumbed to hypothermia, though the Plane continued to spot possible investigation targets as they saw a boat waving a black flag dock at the thought-to-be-uninhabited Bear Island. Another person from the plane parachuted down to take a closer look at the strange facility on the island while the plane pursued the boat which had docked on the island, which headed back to Svalbard where it was sunk by a turret which then began shooting at the plane.
An unidentified communication which claimed to have accidentally been on the public channel sprung up, which Sipedro tried to identify despite this party trying to remain mysterious, though eventually Sipedro learned that it was Luvakhia, a nation which had disbanded prior to World War 4, who claimed that they were in the process of migrating. Quatritonia soon noticed this group moving through their territory, offering them a place to stay before they claimed that they knew where they were going.
