Reports of strange purple lighting began spreading in the areas that had been hit the most by conflicts involving Void Energy, which was soon followed by strange metal pillars striking the ground which attracted the lightning and storms, ripping open various 20 gateways into a myriad of alternate timelines and realities, with dimensions such as one where disease had been eradicated, one where Red City won the Later Empire Wars, one where aliens conquered Yata, one where a successful apocalypse happened, and even one where the Red Leader was a force of good rather than evil.

It was later revealed that this was also occurring beyond Yata.
