A year after being restored, Tritonia held its first legislative elections. Constituencies were drawn up and contested between the European Peace Party, Tritonian Communist Alliance, Tritonian Nationalist Party, and Turkish People's Party. The TCA won in Belarus, Mylonagrad North, and Volzhskiy. The TNP won in Faylamere, Rusia Proper, Silverhill, and Velodoland. The EPP won James Street, Mylonagrad Proper, Tritoniyagrad Proper, and West Tritoniyagrad. The TPP won Astrakhan, Morduria, and Orenburg. The left-leaning EPP and TCA allied with one another while the right-leaning TPP and TNP allied, giving the left a slim majority. In order to appease the rural voters, the new government officially reinstated the monarchy as ceremonial figures to appease both factions. As a result of the elections, talks for possible Mordurian independence began and Aldren II Tremar, the last great grandchild of the last legitimate monarchs of Ioanis Tremar and Elia Tremar.
