After the Adriatic Intervention against Yetia, the two leaders of the Yetian Freikorps Hans Meyer and Mano Lavigne organized a revolt against the Yetian government after an unsuccessful attempt at negotiation. The Freikorps quickly overwhelmed the government as they gained the support of the public wishing for an end to their nation's suffering. With the Adriatic Alliance unwilling to crush the revolt, the Freikorps soon proclaim victory after capturing Salomé Dupont and turning him into a mere citizen, allowing the Greater Yetian Empire to be proclaimed.
