The Expansion Plan & Prelude

Mordurian spies uncovered a strange laserrun-classified document from the Quatritonian Empire which was effectively impossible to view without proper technology, prompting them to begin work on decoding it. After Morduria had completed this, it revealed that the document was an expansion plan across western Eurasia, greatly freaking out Yetia's leadership to the point of preparing its limited military forces for any possible war as well as using an exception in the Treaty of Rapa Nui to mobilize a larger army using militias, which Waclaw called it out for doing. The government of Kalevala was soon contacted by Yetian Vice-Premier Alana Tremar, who claimed that Quatritonia would soon invade them. Fearing invasion, Yetia and Lineland organized the Second Coalition to prepare for any attacks as Sipedro fortified New Sizzle and nations such as Sarpistan and Yetia armed their borders. Quatritonia soon completed its recruitment efforts, indicating their preparations were complete as their new Yomtach recruits boarded planes for war.
As Kalevala prepared for war under its current junta government headed by President Mannerheim, Kalevala's former King Frederick went to Quatritonia and offered to collaborate as a puppet-ruler if he was given back control over Kalevala if they were to win, which Quatritonia accepted in order to bolster its ranks with Royalist collaborators. Kalevala was quick to notice the enemy forces massing on the borders as well as the firing up the Lazer towers. Quatritonian armies crossed the border by a few metres, prompting the Kalevians to demand their retreat, which they ignored as the two armies stared each other down, leaving the two at a standoff.
Quatritonian Invasion
Suddenly while Kalevala was distracted, 35 Thousand armoured Yomtachs armed with rocket launchers smashed through the Kalevian lines and encircled tens of thousands, forcing Kalevala to flee northwards as they attempted to gain a defensive position despite the Lazer towers knocking out their power. The Yomtachs began to burn down the forests the Kalevian army was hiding in, though the winter conditions made this quite inefficient due to the cold smothering many of the fires. Kalevala soon began the Äänislinna Counteroffensive, employing shotguns and other large calibre firearms to blast through the Yomtachs armour. Sipedro began to fund the Kalevian war effort by sending them their war-androids, though the Laser Array quite easily deactivated them. Kalevian tanks began to roll out to fight back, which Quatritonia countered with rocket launchers and their own tanks. Kalevala then resorted to using molotov cocktails in order to fight back, though this met limited success. Kalevala began its first wave of conscription, though its position seemed tenuous regardless as much of these forces had to be diverted to fight back.
Hoping to break through the Kalevian defences, the Palladian sector of the Laser Tower Array focused it beams and bent them to hit Kalevala, burning down much of the country in an instant as the first ever fire of the Immolator Array had concluded, expanding the towers' capabilities beyond merely acting as EMPs. With Kalevala's lines in tatters, Quatritonia fortified its positions in order to prevent any counteroffensives as well as buy them time to deploy 500 thousand additional conscripts and began training 25 thousand more Yomtachs from Wrangel Island. Kalevala halted its counteroffensives and adopted a defensive doctrine of guerilla warfare and traps. The Kola army halted its attacks while the south broke through again in the Äänislinna region, though Kalevala's defences made this difficult. Quatritonia began using paratroopers in its attempts to break through, allowing it to advance quicker than it lost land thanks to its ferocity and growing numbers, with these forces being directed towards an advance onto Helsinki. Kalevala upped its involvement in the air war, sending out its fighters over both the frontlines and Quatritonia proper, with a notable incident involving a damaged Kalevian place kamikazi-ing itself into a lazer tower, angering Quatritonia to the point of launching another blast to knock out most of the airforce from the sky, leading to many of the planes steering into towers before they crash-landed, leading to the lazers destroying much of Kalevala before being disabled.
Hoping to achieve a decisive victory, the Quatritonians launched their blitzkrieg towards Helsinki while leaving the rest of the front as largely defensive, managing to successfully break through enemy lines and reach the city where a fierce battle began between the Kalevians and Quatritonians, expanding to the point of even involving both sides' navies battling outside the city and firing on enemy positions on land. Kalevala did manage to push back a little bit to better defensive positions, though this did not prevent Quatritonia from pushing deeper into the city. Hoping to achieve a proper distraction, Kalevala renewed the eastern side of the front by launching a desperate offensive intended to catch the Quatritonians off guard, which Quatritonia responded to with fierce counteroffensives and bombing campaigns. Despite Kalevala facing significant successes, they accidentally overextended and pushed too far past their supply lines, allowing Quatritonia to easily fight back after bombing out what little supplies the Kalevians had until Kalevala managed to restabilize its positions and launch a limited counterattack. Quatritonia began the final phase of the Helesinki Offensive, raining down napalm on still resisting areas and flying supersonic jets over the city to bomb out enemy supplylines. Kalevala attempted a final operation to cut off the Helsinki army in an attempt to force a favourable peace deal, which Quatritonia seemingly remained open to as they offered to simply annex the Baltic and Novgorod, which Kalevala countered by instead offering vassalage, which Quatritonia accepted, leading to both sides armies laying down their arms after a few brief skirmishes. This arrangement disappointed the Kalevian Royalist Army due to not gaining power over Kalevala due to Quatritonia arranging a deal with the Republican government, but there was nothing they could do.
