The communist regime in Minguo began to grow unstable as anti-communist elements grew in popularity, leading to an unsuccessful Linelandic-backed crackdown which lead to a largescale anti-communist uprising. Lineland and North Spisos quickly came to help crush the uprising, which was quite unsuccessful as the insurgents quickly overtook the country and proclaimed the Empire of Minguo. Seeking to assert themselves, Minguo's new regime suddenly invaded and occupied Taiwan as well shortly after taking power.
