After a few months of preparing its army, the Union of Linelandic Socialist Republics pursued its first major territorial expansion by declaring war on Alinya. Luvamatrilia supported Alinya in return for being given corpses, which succeeded for once as Alinya was the first country to say yes to them offering this (as they had done this in tens of wars at this point). Nakmai also agreed to support Alinya as a thanks for its help during the Utsongan-Nakmaian War, only to remember that the ULSR was a member of the Aundzer Alliance which made them cancel their support. Lineland fully occupied the Anakistan Region and proclaimed the Anakistani Linelandic Socialist Republic, which was joined into the ULSR. In order to reach Alinya's mainland the ULSR used paratroopers, which quickly overthrew the local government and proclaimed the 'Second People's Republic of Alinya', which soon joined the Aundzer Alliance.
