With World War 9 now over, Niedereich and its allies of Rome and Najova sought to reclaim the territories that they had 'lost' during the final process of revolts, prompting them to launch a sudden invasion of Switzerland and its new proxies. Coinciding with this fight, the Kingdom of Palladia ended up at war with the alliance between Vedaburg and Waclaw as it sought to take advantage of the crisis to reclaim territories. The Second People's Republic of Yetia also decided to intervene so that it may absorb Burgundy and Savoy. Switzerland begged for international aid, but was ignored by its former allies from World War 9 as this was a Yetian issue not a Yatan issue, leading to a brief argument which preceded Switzerland's demise. Once the Alpine Committee was fully destroyed all of their former territories were split between Rome, Niedereich, and Najova, while the french-speaking regions of Switzerland were reorganized into Reichskommissariat Romandie. Niedereich decided to keep up its momentum by seizing a portion of Waclawan territory. Palladia tried to petition Tritonia into funding them, which they refused, prompting Palladia to invade Vedaburg regardless as they seized the eastern 3rd of the country.
Rome and Niederbach completed their preparations for an advance westward, integrating Romandie and marching into Waclaw and PR Yetia, prompting the PRY to push into Waclaw to secure its flank. A significant portion of the PRY was quickly occupied by the Axis states, leading to significant portions of its eastern lands being integrated into their territory while Waclaw was reorganized into a puppet of the Niedereich. With the PRY front stalling, Niedereich turned its attention east and invaded Vedaburg, who was eventually crushed between the combined efforts of the Niedereich and Palladia.
Tritonian spies uncovered that within the borders of the Niedereich there was a massive ongoing ethnic cleansing campaign, prompting them to join Palladia's side in the war and send its army over the borders. Now with foreign support, Palladia launched an attack on the Axis states alongside its larger eastern neighbour, quickly advancing into Najova as socialist partisans rose up within the country. Palladia and Tritonia pushed along the Sava and Drina rivers in an attempt to cut off remaining Axis forces in Najova while the Niedereich launched an offensive into Palladia City itself. A tenuous non-aggression pact emerged between the Monarchists and Communists as Najova collapsed, leading to the Niedereich occupying its Slovenian territories. Tritonia moved to catch the advancing Niederish forces pushing thru Palladia while Palladia's army in Najova swung northwards. The Monarchists were caught off-guard as instead of pushing into the city centre of Palladia, the Niederish army rushed northwards towards Grosno, cutting off Palladia from Tritonia in a desparate offensive which quickly backfired once they overextended themselves.
While briefly somewhat allied with one another, fighting broke out between the Monarchists and Communists as the Najovan Partisans were quickly subjugated as the Monarchists pushed onto the Danube. Niedereich bombers began striking Tritonian military sites and factories, prompting Tritonia to bomb the concentration centers' entrances which allowed many to escape. Many Niederish soldiers were encircled which allowed the Palladians to push west, especially as Tritonia had begun targeting the enemy supply-lines, which they responded to by sending paratroopers to sabotage the Tritonians.
After a while of being stuck in a stalemate, the Niedereich launched a sudden invasion of Tanume to push into Tritonia in order to stop its counteroffensives, prompting Cornia and Kalevala to come to Tanume's defence. Tritonia and its allies quickly rushed to deal with the breakthrough while the Niedereich was forced to retreat from the west. It was revealed that the Tanume invasion was largely a distraction so that the Niedereich could push back on the main front, though the horrors of the Niedereich's regime did convince countries such as Malakia, Saharia and Svealand joined the fight. The battle for Tanume was very mixed as Svealand lacked the navy to set up an effective blockade, as while in parts of the front the ANC was able to advance the Niederish army managed to break thru along the Daugava as they rushed onwards while abandoning their supply lines. Despite this being a threat, the ANC eventually managed to get this breakthrough under control, leading to the remaining Niedereich forces in the region being reorganized into the Reichskommissariat Preussen. With the north stabilized, the Tritonians launched a renewed offensive on the main front which saw massive success.
The Niedereich planned a way to hold back the southeastern front, managing to cause much more resistance than previously as they planned to execute a daring operation. The front began to stall to a stalemate, prompting Tritonia to launch a renewed offensive in Tanume while Malakia pushed deeper and deeper into Ortilia. Scandimar was swayed to join the ANC as they rushed across the border until they met a defensive line. The Niedereich sacrificed some of its defences with the ANC as it launched a renewed offensive into the PRY, prompting Palladia to seize the opportunity and begin attacking much more aggressively than before. Palladia began rapidly increasing its tank production in an attempt to counter the enemy, which the ANC used to launch a daring offensive on all fronts while the Niedereich was busy in the west. Palladia rushed towards Newtown despite its southern flank not exactly being the most secure, leading to it being cut off after the PRY fell and was replaced by the Niedereich-aligned 'State of Yetevia'. Palladia grew frustrated over this defeat which prompted Tritonia to send more aid, which quickly backfired as factions within Palladia's military launched a coup against their incompetent government which resulted in a civil war in which the 'Third Yetian United Front' rose up in rebellion. Palladia's attempts to 'beg' its allies to come help it largely failed as Tritonia and Scandimar withdrew from the war and the others sided with the uprising, soon leading to Palladia falling to the more heavy-handed pragmatists of the YUF. Denasola and Sakkiang got concerned over the events in Tritonia and Scandimar, prompting them (and Alyphia+Cotunauinia) to continue supporting the fight against the Niederbach while they went to investigate what had transpired. Apothelis extracted the consciences created prior to the ILCADOS Incident from Tritonian territory so they may be created artificial bodies while what was happening there could be researched.
While the Niedereich did manage to push deep into the YUF, Rome was caught unprepared as the United Front launched a naval invasion of the weaker member of the Axis. With Rome actively collapsing to the enemy, the Niedereich launched an invasion which occupied all remaining regions under Roman rule, leading to the areas the YUF managed to capture being integrated into them while the rest either fell under Niedereich rule or under the rule of the "Wehrkreise Savoy". Niedereich began to run out of manpower as it couldn't conscript non-Germanic Yetians out of fear of revolt. Savoy was the first 'member' of the Axis to fall to the YUF, who declared their intention to march all the way to Niederbach and personally destroy the Niedereich. Alyphia congratulated YUF for its massive counteroffensive which had seen more progress than any other before this, while the YUF simply instructed Alyphia to find out what happened to Tritonia, leading to them discovering that all entrances into the country were mysteriously blocked off, prompting them to sneak in via a private jet. With all of its WMDs inoperable and its army in tatters, the Niedereich finally capitulated which allowed the YUF to proclaim victory over Yetia, though afterwards it did have a slight detour in pressuring Alduria into handing over Thrace as the 14th Kingdom of Yetia was born.
