The king of Scotland suddenly died, leading to a new queen being crowned as their ruler. King Alex III Robinson of Sizzle would soon date and marry this queen, though claims that Alex III was abusive would soon circulate to the point of causing some protests, yet the Queen would soon die regardless of natural causes leading to Scotland being integrated into Sizzle's already pre-existing union with Abard, shifting their laws to be aligned with Sizzlean ones to the dismay of various foreign powers such as Yetia and Ireland whom viewed the situation fearfully. Despite Yetian fears, the heirs of Sizzle and Yetia would regardless get married, which was followed by a series of terrorist attacks in England Province as rebel activity intensified, leading to Yetia agreeing to hand over the territory to Sizzle in return for the region being pacified from insurgents and for $5,000,000,000.
England was displeased by this transaction, instigating a largescale uprising that saw the Free State of England declaring its independence, leading to Sizzle launching a bombing campaign and closing its borders, with Sizzle soon also pressuring Cornwall into joining against England, with attempts to reach a similar settlement with Ireland failing. Taking advantage over their enemy's lacking preparations and finally being seen as a 'liberator', the English forces advanced into Scotland and captured Edinburgh, prompting Sizzle and its subjects to launch a series of devastating attacks against England to attempt to subdue them, starting with a naval invasion into London and advancing into Cumbria. England responded by launching an offensive towards Glasgow, capturing the city and pushing all the way to the Firth of Clyde, cutting off several enemy armies in the process. As English forces swiftly began wiping out the encirclement Sizzle decided to become bolder, with its armies now moving into London it proclaimed the birth of the Second Sizzlean Empire, forcing the New Sizzlean Empire to declare its subservience to this new regime. As more enemy forces arrived, England fortified its positions in central Scotland, which Sizzle decided could leave open the possibility for a future conflict in the region, leading to it deciding to agree to a peace agreement that allowed it to retain the regions it had occupied.
While initially planning on withdrawing from Scotland, England was soon convinced to continue its occupation of Scotland, establishing the Republic of Scotland as an English ally, which lead to various insurgencies breaking out throughout Scotland.
