After the Sixth Yetian War of Reconquest, Yetia was left in an incredibly unstable state where local warlords and military leaders effectively ran everything without a central government, prompting Francia, Germania, and Nederland to intervene in order to pacify the area via annexation. Facing invasion, the warlords governing Yetia formed the 'Fourth Yetian United Front' in an attempt to defend their nation. The Yetian core based around Lille swiftly fell to the Partitionist states, though a group of Yetian forces managed to break through and occupy the heart of Yetia City around Normandie, where they managed to fortify themselves and hold off enemy attacks which eventually forced the Partitionists to allow them to continue to exist in the region for now, allowing the radical 'Yetian Reclamation Authority' to seize power in the region.
