Altai Revolution

The Altai region had become an exclave of Siberia following the Khakassian War, allowing the area to grow unstable enough for a collection of militias calling themselves the 'Social Orthodox Party' to march into the region's capital of Gorno-Altaysk and seize power, cutting all connections to the Siberian government. The neighbouring Siberian-Turkic Federation's border guards would later report on the ongoings in Altai, discovering that the SOP had seized total control of the newly sovereign "Altaylar Federation of Soviets" in order to use it as a staging grounds to extend a neo-L'Avenirist revolution in Siberia, prompting Siberia to sign a mutual defence and cooperation agreement with its former enemies in the STF.
