Many Pro-Democracy advocates in the Theian Republic launched violent protests against the current authoritarian democracy run by President Donius Sienti, causing conflict in several urban zones that eventually escalated into a march on the Republic Chancelloral Office where protests occurred continuosly for 2 weeks with backing from opposition parties. Eventually, Donius Sienti resigned due to the pressure, though many conservative factions refused to recognize this and resisted the new government. Eventually, they too would come around and formally recognize the 'New Democracy System' which allowed for new elections to be held that were won by Ivius Eratio. Polsk congratulated Chancellor Ivius Eratio for his victory and voiced its intentions to rebuild friendly relations with the nation, which prompted the Theian Republic to claim that it would 'tolerate Polsk'.
