With Scotland breaking away during the tensions of the Linelandic-Sizzlean War, conflict once again returned to the British Isles as Sizzlean forces occupying Ireland prepared to make their move against the insurrection, landing in Edinburgh and asserting control over the highlands, only for a similar revolt to begin happening in Ireland. The various decentralized clans involved in the Scottish uprising rebranded themselves as 'Alba', with the Irish forces taking the name Éire as they rose up in Galway. As Alba and Eire signed an alliance with one another Sizzle would attempt to do something similar by enlisting the support of Cornwall, which they agreed to before sending armies to assist against Eire.
Suddenly in the middle of the war, the Sizzlean-Yetian Acts of Union occurred that drew Yetia and Sizzle into one united empire that immediately set its eyes upon the British Isles, with their brief hold over England breaking as they rose up in revolt and formed the Kingdom of Anglia allied with Alba and Eire. The SYE was quick to move to reassert control over England, seizing control over the regions where its military was stationed, with the areas outside of its reach continuing to revolt. The SYE and Cornwall first focused on Eire despite losing Dublin due to seeing them as the weakest link, which Anglia utilised to launch a counteroffensive of its own into the south-west and the SYE-controlled regions of Scotland.
SYE forces began quickly closing in upon those that resisted their strength, with the fronts on all sides beginning to collapse as their army had finally arrived in full force. Anglia organized a desperate escape alongside its allies, deciding to together flee to North America as those that could not joined them tried to hold off the enemy advance, with all resistance soon falling apart. With its enemies dealt with, the SYE turned on Cornwall and betrayed them by launching an invasion into their territory, prompting many of Sizzle's former allies such as Waclaw and Luvakhia abandoning them. Cornwall tried to desperately hold on with their defences, yet it was all hopeless in the end as Cornwall could not win, prompting it to burn down everything the SYE could use to become more powerful.
Aftermath
Luxuria seemed to dismiss the conflict as nothing important, but Sipedro acted much more vocally by being angry that both Yetia and Sizzle had fallen under imperialistic regimes and unified, citing the occupation of the British Isles as unforgivable. Not all of the world shared this reaction though, as the New Sizzlean Empire quickly voluntarily joined the Empire.
