Lady Pianga, president of Wanaoishi, and Bienheureuse Kasongo, president of Hongerswak had been married for some time now, prompting Lady to suggest a unification of the two's countries. Bienheureuse was in favour of this plan, anticipating that he would be in charge of this union as he was the male counterpart in their relationship, prompting Lady to feign compliance as she fed him poisoned coffee which proved to be lethal, allowing Hongerswak to be annexed into Wanaoishi which led to some dissent in both sides. The only thing more extreme than the internal issues were the new international issues, as Abard was angered due to being supplanted as Africa's strongest power. Zina moved to negotiate with Wanaoishi regarding the situation as Hongerswak had been their puppet, only for Uganda to finally wake up and claim that it had survived being teleported to an undocumented planet by Zina for the past several decades, leading to Wanaoishi being effectively ignored as the two states which had fought over their their independence were distracted with each other. Abard proved to be a more present threat though, declaring war on Wanaoishi while it was still unstable to protect its title.
Abard's army rushed across the border and proclaimed that it would partition Wanaoishi to stop its 'evil plans', which Wanaoishi didn't even know that it had. Bomber planes flew above as Abard pushed for the city of Moja, prompting Wanaoishi to try to negotiate. Abard wished to partition Wanaoishi to regain power, so Wanaoishi offered a counter deal where the two would form an alliance to take over Africa together, which Abard was willing to accept in return for gaining control over some territories south of the Zambezi River, leading to the war coming to an end.
