Initial Crisis
Luxuria suddenly began sending out communications with much poorer grammar than usual as it announced that it declared war on Lineland in order to reclaim Melbourne and Tasmania. Lineland obviously refused, prompting Luxuria to begin sending videos of advanced military equipment in an attempt to threaten them into doing it, prompting Lineland to snitch on them to the New Sipedroan Republic. Luxuria reasoned that Lineland didn't need it anymore and that they weren't being imperialistic because if they would the George family would be killed. Lineland militarized the border, prompting Luxuria to go on a emotional rant about how Lineland didn't deserve to keep it because it was given when they really needed it and they were being selfish because they didn't anymore, extending this 'argument' into covering Lineland's membership in the New Axis Powers. Lineland was about to explain their reasoning, when King Elmo Linasburg was suddenly assassinated as the 'real' Luxuria returned to control. It was revealed that Elmo had no heirs and therefore the House of Linasburg was effectively extinct, plunging the country into uncertainty as Luxuria returned to speaking in the poor grammar tone as it argued with itself over which prince of Luxuria should rule Lineland. The leader of Taiwan was revealed to have ordered the assassination, though this lacked full evidence and its not like Lineland was capable of doing anything about this, prompting it to hold elections in 1 month for new leadership while Prime-Minister Vanya ruled until then, which made Castrovalence spike to 0.029.
George George of Luxuria went to go get tea, allowing his kids to take over Luxuria's international communications and demand Melbourne and Tasmania again, which Lineland refused once more. Yetia refused to help "Luxuria" with taking over the territory, though Taiwan appeared to be willing as it talked about all the bad things Lineland did to it during its occupation of the island, though "Luxuria" refused Taiwan demanding violent tactics. Islandia was actually willing to help Luxuria peacefully, which made Castrovalence spike to 0.045. Luxuria's communications became chaotic as whoever was running it revealed they were doing this because they wanted to prove that Liam II George was unfit to be the next heir, leading to a fight between the controller and Liam II which lead to one of them throwing a glass at the other.
Islandia sent a diplomat to Atherton Palace to agree on how to deal with Lineland, leading to Aphrodite opening the door and being very confused about a 'war', until she was distracted by Hades George claiming that 'the twins were feeding Sofia drugs again'. Hades went to the door and claimed to be in charge, but Islandia claimed they needed to speak to George George so Hades dressed up a butler as George to speak to the diplomat while he dragged away Harriet and Sofia from the door over them threatening to tell on Hades for saying 'shut up'. Aphrodite finally came back and was confused by what the butler was doing before shouting about how George would never do a war and how he messed up, prompting her to drag Hades with her into a limo as they rushed to the hospital where George apparently was. Soon afterwards, the Luxurian government clarified that Hades had been impersonating George George to reclaim Melbourne.
Escalation and War
After a long time of little happening regarding the subject, Luxuria returned with its poor-grammared tone as it suddenly declared war on Lineland, this time seemingly going through with it despite persuasion not to as it recruited Creepyland to serve as a military force alongside the previouslty promised support from Taiwan and Islandia. As Linelandic soldiers rushed to fight back much of the city of Melbourne rose up in rebellion as thee Third Melbourne Commune was declared in solidarity with Luxuria's cause. The border walls were torn down as soldiers from Luxuria began marching across while Lineland and Luxuria's navies fought one another. Lineland was heavily outnumbered, so it relied on firepower in an attempt to hold off the enemy while Sizzle rambled about how horrible this was and how they would help 'eventually' until they suddenly switched up towards saying Luxuria was in the right instead of Lineland. Linelandic tanks rushed to Melbourne to reclaim it, only for the Bass Strait Bridge to be sabotaged and blown up while they were in transit which lead to their collapse. Lineland sent 50 thousand additional sooldiers, though many of the forces in Melbourne were forced to flee to Tasmania due to being outnumbered. Taiwanese soldiers captured western Melbourne while Islandia sent its navy to support Luxuria, allowing them to land on Tasmania after the rest of Melbourne fell. Luxuria accidentally deployed Emus into Lineland, which made them retreat to the eastern 1/3 of the island. Lineland kept trying to fight back, but it was still outnumbered so Luxuria kept advancing until it reached Linasburg, kicking Lineland off the island. Lineland begrudgingly agreed to a peace treaty, leading to the Treaty of Saint Shrek in which President Nikolai Aksentiev of Lineland and Prince George Jr. George of Luxuria ratified an agreement to legally hand over the regions of Melbourne and Tasmania to Luxuria.
Luxuria afterwards claimed to be unaware that the conflict even happened, though their apologies were not enough to mend relations with Lineland.
