Eclipse's Reign

CSS Eclipse docked to CIS Jupiter Station, drydock section.

13:00 Hours shipboard time.

CSS Eclipse is currently docked with Jupiter station. The crew are currently boarding and preparing the ship for launch.

The crew walks on the bridge.

The Captain of the eclipse steps on the bridge.

"Captain on the bridge!"

"At ease."

"Crew, our first mission is to locate the lost Havenclose expedition."

"I want the Eclipse ready for action within the day."

"Step to it gentlemen." The captain takes a seat in his chair

Captain Bradbury open the communicator on his chair "Bridge to Engineering, Mr. Scott, how's it looking down there?"

"We are running off of station power sir, we are ready to start the reactors on your command, sir."

"Go ahead."

"Very well sir."

"Bradbury out."

A computerized voice announces to the entire ship.

"Reactor cold start procedure initiated. All crew assume proper positions for reactor startup."

"Power banks are fully charged, captain!" calls the operations officer.

"Prepare to disconnect from station power." orders the captain.

"Prepped."

The ships announcer comes on again "Reactor coldstart engaged." A low humm can be felt through the ship.

"Reactors 1 and 3 are now operational. All Reactors are now operational. All crew are clear to resume normal operations."

"Captain, we are now fully operational."

"Good."

"Then we are off." The captain prepares a ship wide broadcast.

"All crew, this is the captain. Prepare for launch"

"All hands accounted for." says the Ops officer

"Copy. Clear all moorings."

"Moorings cleared."

"Come about starboard, 40 degrees."

"Coming about."

"Set course to leave the system. One quarter impulse."

"Copy that, one quarter impulse power."

"Sir, Spacedock is advising that CSS Eclipse use RCS Thrusters only while in the vicinity of the station." Says the comms officer

"As your were, Ensign, continue on one quarter impulse."

"Aye" Says the Helmsman, smiling

CSS Eclipse currently in warp in the Koprulu Sectors.

0600 Hours, shipboard time.

Captain Bradbury is sitting in the captains chair, studying a data pad.

"Captain, we are coming up on the disciples station now. One minute until arrival."

"Copy, All hands to battle-stations."

An alarm goes off

"Red Alert! Prepare for battle!"

"Coming out of warp in 30 seconds." Says the Navigator

"Alright. All hands brace for warp Exit." The Captain broadcasts across the ship

"Exiting warp in 10." says the Navigator

"9."

"8."

"7."

"6."

"5."

"4."

"3."

"2."

"1."

The ship jerks forward as it's braking thrusters are applied and the Warp drive rips the ship out of warp.

The Gas giant planet rushes at them as the massive hulk of a ship comes to a sudden stop.

The ship finds itself in an asteroid field, and they're surrounded by small pirate cruisers, with a massive station in front of them.

The captain stands up.

"Shields up. All guns online."

"Shields up Captain!" Says the Operations officer

"Batteries 1 through four, cover our Port side, batteries 5-8, cover Starboard."

"Batteries 10-6, cover our rear."

"All guns, open fire."

Just seconds after coming out of warp, the Eclipse begins spitting out lines upon lines of fiery death upon the pirate fleet.

Each battery cluster focuses down on each enemy ship.

"Yamato Cannon status?" Asks the captain.

"Yamato Cannon ready!"

"Target the station. Single reactor emission."

"FIRE!"

The Eclipse fires its Yamato Cannon, the hyper accelerated round punches straight through the station and explodes, blowing the massive station into large pieces.

The station starts breaking up and following apart as it quickly becomes consumed by fire and explosions.
