All of the sudden, Sizzlean Mongolia reported border clashes on the border with Lineland alongside a bombing raid in Ulaanbatar, which Lineland denied. Great Sizzle did not believe Lineland's explanations that it was uninvolved with the incident, while Lineland refused to apologise. After releasing footage of the event, Sizzle launched a counterattack which ended the clashes and marched across the border into Lineland as they had made it clear that while they may be dedicated to peace any attacks into their territory would be met by ruthless force. Sizzle wiped the floor with Lineland's army after crushing them in the Battle of Irkutsk and Battle of Khabarovsk. Lineland exposed General Boris for being responsible for ordering the clashes, which Great Sizzle disregarded as only more reason to pacify Lineland as the Battle of Yakutsk began. Lineland's army quickly became demoralized as its government fled abroad into Yorica, leading to the frontlines fully collapsing as Lineland was soon forced to capitulate. Lineland was fully annexed after the conflict, leading to the now surrounded Bejrik Order abandoning its territory and fleeing abroad, allowing the Almatsk region to also be integrated into Great Sizzle.
As a response to this conflict, several nations opposed to both Great Sizzle and The Iujado met in Greenland to establish the 'Greenland Alliance'. Lineland's government in exile refused to participate as it feared that it would give Sizzle a casus belli to wage war with the alliance.
