'Spores' Outbreak
Islandia inquired about the Mutajados which were littered around Antarctica after the Biomass Crimson Crisis as it wished to pursue a research project, which Denasola and Asophania were willing to collaborate with. Islandia eventually discovered that a number of them had contracted a mysterious fungal disease which quite goreishly turned them blood red, leading to them bringing them into New South City for analysis. The captured Mutajados screamed and gargled in pain as the red material consumed them, prompting Asophania and Islandia to begin intensive research, leading to them coming to the conclusion that the infection was actively 'seizing control' of its victims in order to puppeteer their bodies as its own, which was proven correct once it died and fell under the fungus' control. After the disease fully took control over the Mutajados, their bodies contorted and latched onto the ground, therefore Islandia sent in a probe inside of the ctreature which spotted tentacles within its interior building somekind of egg or seed which soon emerged. All of the sudden a green gateway was ripped open in the room, from which several Tritonian and Universal Council explorers emerged from following certain events that occurred during the Sizzlean-Shenguese War. Tritonia was confused how it got here as it mumbled about how Nihilantis was opening/closing dimensional rifts and how it recognized the egg that emerged from the creature. The portal expanded and began unleashing various creatures, leading to Tritonia and the others running as Vortigaunts emerged from the gateway and conversed with the egg creature about how the leader had returned, which the 'Spores' did not recognize as it had just been born from droplets that had emerged from the gateway which opened near Jupiter. The Vortigaunts were friendly to the Humans though, explaining that they were unaware of what threat the 'Spores' could pose as they began spreading as it searched for a host. The scientists promptly sealed the 'Spores' into the research room in order to prevent their spread beyond it, prompting all the scientists that were trapped inside to jump back through the gateway to avoid the spread of the spores, with only 3 not making it through to Xen. Islandia had fainted during the escape, explaining how during this it felt like the 'Spores' were calling for it to serve them which lead to them theorising that it somehow influenced the mind of the people near it, therefore the 3 trapped UC members could eventually end up freeing it into the Asolab. A tower in the distance grew brighter as the Nihilanth proclaimed to the Red Leader that the rifts set to open at the end of the Sizzlean-Shenguese War were now ready.
As the final events of the Sizzlean-Shenguese War occurred, the remaining Denasolin, Asophanian, and Islandian figures within the Asolab began preparing to quickly evacuate as Xenians flooded the facility and the Spores broke loose and began spreading into it. Islandia grew hysteric as the mind-altering effects of the Spores set in and made them care for the well-being of the spores and how they could get hurt if they were left in here, so they were forced to put down the spores and forcefully dragged to the Teleporters, which activated as Islandia began sobbing. All of the sudden a green flash occurred and ripped them over to where the people in Xen were. The Islandians at Xen recognized that the others which had arrived were under the influence of the Spores, leading to them being cleaned to prevent the spores' spread. Everyone decided to begin making their way to the tower they suspected was causing the rifts as 'Islandia B' had their skin slowly turn red, therefore Denasola shot them as they contorted, allowing the team to begin making their way to the tower on the backs of flying creatures.
