Investigation into the NLE
Fearing that the SYE may support the NLE due to its offers during the SYE-Utsong War, Luxuria looked further into the operations of the NLE and uncovered that Denver Gagnon, former president of Spisos, may be their leader due to him being spotted in a mansion in the NLE's territory. Islandia found this difficult to believe due to Denver's previous anti-Luxurian prejudices, which Luxuria explained by claiming they had sent a drone that saw him inside a building in the NLE's holdings. Islandia suggested sending spies to confirm this, although Luxuria claimed this had never worked, which Islandia suggested should be looked into by sending a recovery team, which also failed. Islandia suggested sending another team with hidden recording software broadcasting all information live back to Luxuria, with these recordings typically beginning with the teams being situated in a thick jungle, suddenly screaming, and then a familiar voice stating 'Check Him' that preceded the recordings being cut.
As plans to confront the NLE for the deaths of Luxurian citizens were about to be launched, President Yew Haa of Luxuria suddenly died without a known cause, prompting snap elections to be held that saw a individual going by the name "Terry Teur" coming into power. Terry began his regime under a more 'pacifistic' system, announcing that he would be doing nothing about the situation as to not anger the NLE. Seeing Yew Haa's death as suspicious, Sipedro and Islandia confronted the NLE regarding the situation by using the recordings as evidence, with Sipedro identifying the voice in the recordings as remarkably similar to Denver's. The NLE refuted all accusations, claiming it would never hurt a Luxurian, though the other two nations continued to accuse it of being involved in both the deaths of the expeditionaries and Yew Haa. Islandia began being suspicious over the individual behind the NLE's communications only claiming to be a mere soldier, with Islandia asserting that having just a random soldier unaware of any specifics in charge of something as important as foreign policy as illogical.
Sipedro turned its attention onto the new government in Luxuria proper, demanding to know why Terry refused to act against the threat of the NLE, which Terry just responded to by saying that he could never know what they could do if angered. Sipedro and Islandia initially considered launching an attack, but soon decided upon surveillance first instead by sending aircraft to spy on the NLE, discovering that the island of Timor had essentially nothing on it except the mansion the previous Luxurian government had found, making the situation even more confusing for them. Deciding to look further, a drone was dropped down from the plane to spy on the building, only for its propellers to fail as it slammed through the roof, regardless managing to capture video evidence of Denver being president, with the drone being promptly destroyed once it was noticed.
