The SDS Foundation expressed its willingness to reveal details it knew about undocumented extrasolar civilizations to the Accord's Spacefaring Organizations Committee in return for its details remaining classified, which the other members of the Committee reluctantly agreed to; prompting the SDS to reveal that it had created a censored version of intercepted military documents from a crashed anomalous spacecraft from a nearly cluster of recently discovered civilizations. The CSIS demanded to know what was anomalous about this, which the SDS refused due to the CSIS lacking clearance and encouraged them to at least be happy the SDS was giving them any details about nearby hostile civilizations, leading to some tensions between the two. Regardless, the SDS revealed information about the Chimerans (locally known as 'The Mariomoth'), a octopoid species dedicating themselves to the hunting of other intelligent lifeforms, and the 'United Rim-Chimera War' which was a conflict between the Chimeran Empire and an alliance of the Empire of Kouran, The States of Terria, the Confederation of Ankoku, and The Star States, which was initially in the Chimera's favour until the Kaiton Hegemony intervened against the Chimera, which when combined with the Terrians' redacted secret weapon allowed the Chimerans to be defeated which lead to their collapse into a number of smaller warlord cliques loosely collaborating to defend themselves, with the last major engagement being the 'Battle of Aurdum' where a warlord known as 'Omnimoderati' attempted to advance towards the neutral planet of Ziel but was stopped due to this redacted superweapon.
