After having intimidated Nilastan into leaving it alone, the NLE claimed it would 'do something easy' without context. Soon afterwards a massive uprising sparked across southern Hongerswak, calling itself the "Hongerswakan National Army". Concerned that this situation could allow the NLE to invade them, Sarpistan, Nilastan, and Sizzle began supporting Hongerswak, allowing them to briefly push back. The HNA spread propaganda of it fighting against the murderous regime currently in place, convincing Sizzle that the attacker was not the NLE, making them withdraw their army due to Hongerswak's hatred of Sizzle. Lacking international aid, Hongerswak soon fell to the rebels as the HNA gained control over the country. Sarpistan sent expeditions to figure out what exactly was going on, but failed to find any leadership or members of the Pianga Family, with the sole notable discovery being a flag resembling that of the NLE with a large coat of arms in the centre.
Hongerswak Crisis
After the war had concluded, Sarpistan spoke out about its flag discovery, accusing the NLE of invading Luxuria and sharing images of the flag. Sizzle believed Sarpistan's accusations despite the NLE's denials, prompting Sarpistan to join the Anti-NLE Pact as the NLE continued to deny accusations. England, Ireland, Waclaw, Choros, and Sipedro joined the Anti-NLE Pact as well, while Taiwan (who was already a member) attempted to convince Islandia to join as well. Islandia felt conflicted, as its leader had feelings for Taiwan's leader despite the NLE being its closest ally and trading partner since the Scramble for Oceania. The NLE offered various luxuries such as economic support, better political opportunities, expansion, and the curing of diseases, while Taiwan offered love. Taiwan used positive emotions in its arguments, while the NLE used the negative aspects of its enemies to demean them, manipulating Islandia towards accepting their alliance until Taiwan finally broke through as Ariki Rapanui of Islandia expressed his love for Tsai Ing-wen of Taiwan, becoming a couple. This infuriated the NLE, who raged about all it had given Islandia, prompting racial remarks.
The topic soon shifted back to Hongerswak as Sipedro asked about the situation, prompting the NLE to accuse Sarpistan of more lies once it spoke up about the invasion. NLE's accusations of Hongerswak being too weak to be worth invading only convinced Yetia that the NLE was behind it as they said that neither Spisos or Abard were worth much either. The NLE finally snapped and admitted to invading Hongerswak, prompting Sarpistan to rage and demand to know the location of Kamina and their kids, too which NLE only claimed that Kamina had escaped and that it wished for a private chat with Sarpistan. After this, Sarpistan was even more enraged and convinced the Anti-NLE Pact to agree to a bank cheque in which they would back Sarpistan in any upcoming moves it made, only for it to declare war on the NLE over the crisis. The NLE made several manipulative remarks, claiming that Kamina's last words were "I Love You" and if Sarpistan were to continue to fight this their kids would be executed. Despite having many more allies than the NLE, The Anti-NLE Pact felt like it was forced to back down regardless of Sarpistan's conversation with the NLE, due to it appearing to still be very outnumbered by the NLE.
Anti-Anti NLE Pact
After its next elections, Yorica elected "President John" to run the country, whom decided to align the country with the Anti-NLE Pact. Seeing this, the NLE declared the formation of the "Anti-Anti-NLE Pact" with itself and its subjects as members. Lustland was convinced to join the Anti-Anti-NLE Pact in return for "a good time", which disgusted the NLE. Tritonia, Morduria, Aparty, and Asophania also joined the Anti-NLE Pact because of this, while Yorica and Tritonia signed an official friendship treaty. Nilastan and New Luxurian Poavak's disputes intensified as Nilastan supplies insurgents in the jungle, which the NLE swiftly crushed.
Abard Crisis
A similar dispute broke out over Sizzle's opposition to the NLE and New Luxurian Abard's fears of its overlord, prompting Abard to secretly hand over a portion of the Kalahari to Sizzle. Once the NLE noticed this, they became pissed off and repremanded Abard for its actions, prompting Abard to reason that the NLE wasn't using the desert which Abard owned. Abard and Sizzle argued against the NLE's demands to withdraw from the Kalahari, which eventually lead to the NLE backing down at threat of another crisis capable of causing a world war happening like had occured at the end of the Hongerswak Crisis.
