Ever since its restoration during the Roman Revolution, the nation of Francia greatly opposed the continued existence of a Yetian state as an existential threat to its existence, thus once after the Yetians had passed a law to begin largescale militarization, Francia pounced on the opportunity and formed a military pact called the 'Anti Re-Unity League' encompassing the members of the Political Union of Europa and Najova (whom had been undergoing political violence over the activities of the pro-Yetian "Najova Provincial Front") to wage war on Yetia. Soon enough, the war began as ARUL aircrafts crossed into Yetian airspace, smallscale skirmishes began on the border, Francian forces crossed the border and flying their flag in a Yetian village, and finally bombing raids began over the span of 4 hours, leading to war being declared between the two states, with Yetia's only backers being Waclaw and the Yetian Union Party of Moesia.
Clearly outnumbered, Yetia fell back to defensive positions to hold back the advancing ARUL forces before launching an attack into the northeast despite CIS air-support and volunteers (mainly Nova Polskan forces wearing T-51 Power Armour) assisting the REUL. Yetia moved to secure its eastern flank first, organizing the Najova Provincial Front to launch an insurrection against their government which soldiers moved to assist, proving to be enough of a nuisance for Germania to sign a white peace. Facing imminent collapse on the home front, Najova pulled back its offensive army to the Po River so that forces could be pulled back to fight the NPF uprising, making the CIS/Francian advance from the west Yetia's only real threat. Poland was the next to sign an armistice with Yetia despite Francia attempting to convince them to rejoin by citing the Yetian conquest of Poland during the Yetian-Svealish War. Yetian forces in the east launched a rapid attack to Trieste, cutting off Najova's Venetian forces, allowing them to launch a mass offensive into Najova as much of their army had been encircled. Najova attempted to beg Moesia for help, but Moesia found the whole 'Yetia must Fall!' spiel to be not worth its time as it wasn't entirely opposed to a Yetian reunification. The CIS kept trying to advance to Rome and Yetia's Adriatic coast, though they were largely held back.
After Sarajevo fell, Najova finally capitulated to Yetia as it saw no way to attain victory (aside from certain groups of remaining partisans), allowing Yetia to fully focus westward, prompting Bohemia to sign an armistice and for Francia's military to start losing morale despite the CIS' best efforts. Yetia dealt several major defeats against the Francians which caused them to rage about Yetia's stupidity, which Yetia further exploited by calling in aid from the New Waclaw State which launched an offensive southward into Francia's heartland around Yetia City. Facing significant mutinies, Francia's war effort began to collapse to the point of surrendering as well. Against all odds, Yetia had won the war with its superior tactics, allowing Waclaw to annex territories up to the Seine while Yetia annexed Najova in its entirety. The CIS continued airstrikes on Yetia for some time after the war, though this too would end soon enough.
