King O'Connor of Ireland passed away, effectively shattering the support for the monarchy as pro-democracy republican forces taking the opportunity to rise up to occupy major industrial and infrastructure sites as the Second Irish Republican Army rose to claim control over the nation, swiftly overrunning Cork and Limerick. Clearly losing, the Kingdom of Ireland requested support from its allies of Scotland and Wales, who agreed to help as to avoid Yetia taking advantage of their weakness. The revolution even began spreading to Ireland's colonies as the city of New Galway in Iceland rebelled, though they were quickly supplanted by the Icelandic Republic, soon convincing the Republic of the Faroe Islands and Manx Republic to secede as well. The Republicans quickly gained the upper hand despite failing to convince Wales to exit the war. The monarchy briefly managed to secure Leinster until more IRA forces rose up in Dublin, leading to the remnants of the Kingdom of Ireland falling as the Second Republic of Ireland arose. The first act of the Republic was move to reclaim the separatist territories after securing peace with Scotland and Wales, with Faroe and Mann being fairly easy foes while Iceland put up a little resistance as it refused to surrender, though they were soon also pacified.
