Dictator Jordan Flopson of Floppastan died of old age, leading to a power struggle between the paternal-democrat 'Reformists', the stratocratic 'Status Quo', and the fascist 'Hardliners'. With the two dissident factions radicalising much of the Status Quo, Tobias Jäger of the Hardliners was elected the next leader of Floppastan with 31/60 votes in the Floppa Military Council, leading to reformists rallying around 'Angelo Marcus Caracal' and marching on the streets to overthrow their new rulers in a coup. Most of the country swiftly fell to the Reformists despite failing to gain support from Polsk, though somehow a Covenant ship crashed in their territory which was scavenged for weapons. Just as the Reformists were going to wipe out the Hardliners, all of the sudden a national-bolshevist revolt occurred in Sogadan organized by Sakalarya against the reformists controlling the territory, leading to the Reformists being pushed back (with Sogadan even capturing Floppascus) which additionally allowed Bingdustan to revolt, leading to the Reformists' government collapsing into turmoil. With all other governments weakened, Sogadan proclaimed itself to be the 'true' government of Floppastan. Sogga Glopnar took power within the reformists once they restabilised and reorganized into the 'Republicans', leading to the Floppa National Brigades under Erik "Googas" McGoog and the Nationalist Floppa Republic under Plinka Jester revolting against them alongside fighting the other factions due to them being 'fake nationalists'. A brief power struggle also occurred in Sogadan as Sogvan Sogov and Flopich Flokovsky competed for power, with Sogov eventually securing control and launching a massive offensive against his enemies, wiping out NFR and FNB with ease (leading to the FNB's remnants migrating into the Outback). The Reformist-Republicans were of course next, and were easily overwhelmed as they too were forced to flee into exile within Bingland.
