During a series of archaeological studies, the Utsongan Khanate discovered a strange temple full of inscriptions referring to an "Empire of Yata" in a language similar to theirs, which the recently established nation of Skye (whom claimed to originate from 'ancient times') identified as an 'annoying country' from their era. Later on the Second Republic of Taiwan would discover a similar structure in its territory, leading to Skye expanding onto the situation that the 'Empire of Yata' was their frenemy whom they had a fluctuating relationship with, interesting Taiwan enough to go further. After some time Taiwan suddenly began calling out in distress, asking for an army and bombs to be sent into their countries or else it 'would be too late', which Sizzle responded to as the Taiwanese government fled abroad. Messages came from 'Taiwan' soon afterwards, claiming everything was fine and that the armies would be returned, only for the soldiers to behave strangely and disregard their hygiene once they arrived.
Skye caught onto what was going on, and suddenly declared war on Taiwan while insisting they were under the control of a malevolent force. Taiwan's allies of Utsong and Sizzle came to their defence, only for Skye to successfully defeat the Sizzlean navy. Seeing the war as pointless, Skye signed a peace treaty regardless but still locked itself down. Sizzle remained oblivious despite numerous Taiwanese refugees arriving in its country. Taiwan later on would successfully manage to overthrow this group that had seized control of it, revealing that unknown assailants from the temple had taken control over the country for a time.
